My 12 year old loves this bike. He's only had it for a month, so I can't tell about the longevity of the bike. He is happy , so I am happy.

We have had this bike less than a month and the chain guard already cracked in half leaving it open and unusable. The chain guard needs a metal piece, not a plastic cheap one!

My grandson loves his new bike! Very sturdy, amazing bright colors and love the pegs on both front and back tires. This is my grandson's first big boys bike and I thought it might be to big when I picked it up and that he might have trouble with the hand brakes but he's got it all under control. Great purchase this is the perfect bike for a good size 5 year old he just loves it!!

I was wondering if I could return this bicycle & change it for a bigger size 16\". it's too small & the seat is not flexible. thank you !!

well the next jump off is not a bad bike for beginners.im 14 and i got this bike because it had a good price on it and it looked pretty good. but i did have some problems with this bike. when i tried to take the stickers of it left this sticky residue all over the frame. and i sold it to my friend, and the next day the tire popped. then the back wheel just kinda went out on it, the grips got so wore out that they where falling apart and finally the chain broke.but there where some good things about it, for one i got compliments on it when i would ride to school, and its pretty light when u take the brakes and the pegs off, and another thing the brake pads leave a mark all around the rim and they wear out real easly. but of course i did alot of tricks and stuff on this bike and im kinda out of the age zone but other than that i would recommend this to a parent who is looking to give this to there young son or daughter hope this helped out:)

it is a great bike for my little brother. he likes it a lot. it has god cranks and a good frame. he's happy and so are my parents.

First the bike meets and exceeds what my son wanted. I loved the price and the bike is built to withstand what a preteen can put it through. We live a couple blocks from the local skate park, my son owns both a scooter and the bike. He loves it and pampers it like it was a car. We purchased it in the box. Assembly was easy! My son and I did it together. He is proud and I was shocked that I was able to acquire it at such a reasonable price, DK has been around for as long as I can remember,my older boys used to ride bmx professionally, my eldest is 24. A company I know and trust who makes a product I can rely on.

This bike would be worth every penny if it did in fact come with the best mechanical disc brakes on the market....Avid BB5 with an Avid Lever. Someone pulled a bait and switch and put on an ARTEK(junk!) Lever and disc brake the pads will not stop you dead no matter what! The paint on the bike was poor too, there was patches of raw metal showing. The stem cap bolt was all messed up too...must've been a bad Monday in China on assembly day. Wheels are decent, Hubs are real DK hubs, seat was DK, petals DK, cheesy seat clamp(painted alum), Bars seemed wicked cheap too, not something I'd want to jump with. Frame and Fork were fine but I returned the bike because i felt cheated and didn't get what I was paying for, Wal*Mart should change the description of the bike, it's obviously not correct! I'm going to try the Mongoose Dirt Jump next, hopefully the frame is big enough for me.

Bought the bike for my boys. The bike is light and looks great. The only complaint is the seat, which is plastic, is not adjustable in terms of angle (you can adjust height).

We bought this bike and the Static this past xmas and we, and the boys, love them!

I ordered this bike for my son. Had to have it \"shipped to store\" since no store around here had it. Days later I walked in my local Walmart and guess what, they had them on the shelf. Soooo, why did I have it shipped to the store. After dealing with an exceptionally rude associate about picking it up then I finally got the \"store manager on duty\" and she let me go on and get it. Several days later I get this email saying my bike was NOW ready for pickup. Pretty typical Walmart from what I can see. DEFINATELY would NOT use there ship to store option again. Probably, wouldn't have anything shipped by them. As for the bike, it was poorly put together. The brakes didn't function right and I had to go over the whole bike and tighten down everything to make the bike secure for my 8 year old.

The bike came with all the parts even though some of it on each side was punctured through the box because of how it is packaged.\nThe main negative, it had a manual for a different bike. So, putting together the brakes which are more detailed on this bike was extra difficult and time consuming.

I got this bike for my kid that is turning 4 she has not seen it yet but she saw it in the store and wanted it im sure she will love it.It was worth the 59 and 5 dollars for the replacement plan

Whe I first got the bike it was really easy to setup. I recommend this to teens and kids who love biking on dirt and cement. Bike still good so far.

This was a gift for my daughter from Santa. We did site-to-store, and had my in-laws pick it up, and it was already assembled. They noticed one set of the handlebar tassels was inside the slumber party pouch on the front, while the other was attached. When they got it home (to hide it from my daughter until Christmas morning) they attached the tassel and noticed it was thinner than the other one. Since it was a week before Christmas, and we were having a hard time finding another bike. so we settled that it would be okay. A week after Christmas, when we had a warm day and no rain, my daughter took her bike out to try it out. When she started peddling, the bike simply would not work. It looks like the chain is broken. Needless to say, my daughter is not happy, and now I have to return it to Walmart, somehow without her figuring out that it came from there and not from Santa.

My 5 year old Grandson was so happy to get this bike for his 5th Birthday. Once he got the hang of riding this bike, he doesn't want to do anything else.

Does exactly what I bought it for, not top of the line but I didn't pay for the greatest thing out there. Assembly was cake, packaging was awesome. Over all great buy

This bike is very good value for the price. The frame is quite strong. My child will outgrow this bike before it ever could be broken.\n\nI originally bought it for the \"cool factor\" since my child likes watching the Dukes of Hazzard re-runs on TV.\n\nWe replaced the seat with something bigger because the seat was uncomfortable.
