I have this products and had been useing it for 3 years.. I had no idea that it was BAD for your lungs .. I now Have Interstitial Lung Disease aka: Pulmonary fibrosis (scaring in both my lungs) I believe this product contributed to my condition...please do you research on ionic ozone and lung diseases!! before purchasing this machine.
I don't know anything about humidifiers, but it was very easy to get going. It's been running and filling up constantly since I turned it on. Note - it is pretty heavy, but I carried it down steep basement steps with no problems. Good value.
My mom is a heavy smoker, and she is not able to do the normal dusting and vacuuming that she use to do. This air purifier makes a big difference and is very easy to use. The best part is that you can wash out the filters. Thanks again Walmart & Honeywell.
This is a nice, small, room air purifier. I seem to notice a bit less dust in our 160 year old house and a bit less sneezing during allergy season. We purchased two of these beauties and one of them made a weird, kinda loud noise. We took it back to WalMart and had no problems exchanging it for another unit. Both now work just fine and have run constantly for almost a month.
It is small and does not make much noise, my only issue is that it keep my ankles warm but does not go very far beyond that. I wish it was a little larger and gave a little more heat. I just it is my office because it is always freezing!!!
Works well, very quiet BUT BUY the Walmart extended warranty or be sure your credit card gives extended warranty protection.Bought fall of 2011, worked well till winter of 2012 . then didn't need to run it till spring of 2013 and now it's not working. BUMMER
The unit is good, It did take me two stores and two orders ( first had to be canceled out of stock). it did show in stock for pick up. I had to call customer service to have stock checked at another store and have a hold put on it. It was ready later that day for pick up.
This is a very quiet, smooth running model. Great price and wheels make it easy to move. After torrential rains and wet\/moldy basement this little chugger had small cellar dry in two days. Love the settings and controls. I did not set up to a hose yet but just empty the bucket daily. I don't even mind doing that because it does such a great job. Quieter and lighter in weight than some models. Works great in my small basement. Really happy with price as well.
Did my research and im so happy i bought two of these heaters. One for front of my apt, one for the back, and turned my central heat system off. Both heaters warmed up my apt front to back, and shut off when reached desired temperature. My electricity bill was cut in half. I was amazed. The remote control was super convenient too. Unit is small, very easy to carry, safe to leave on while im not home. Shocking how a heater this size can heat up the whole apt, and my apt is not small. Its long and tall seelings.

I was nervous about spending this much money on a machine that I wasn't sure was really going to do anything. I couldn't believe the difference it made in a few hours. The air did feel much cleaner and easier to breath. I set it up in the living room and within an hour the air felt cleaner.\n\nThe best part when I pulled it out of the box all I had to do was remove the plastic bag and plug it in. It is very quiet on the low setting and not too noticeable on medium. I would say on the high setting it makes less noise than a room fan on medium and it is much quieter than a room fan on high. I'm very happy with the noise it doesn't make.\n\nI did take it apart to look at the filters, they come out and insert easily, it looks like it will be really easy to clean. It is easy to understand and use.\n\nI couldn't believe how clear my sinus where when I woke up in the morning, it is such a relief to have clearer sinus.\n\nI like this product so much I am going to buy a smaller version for my bedroom so I don't have move this one from my living room to bedroom.

We bought this Air Purifier as few days ago. We rent an old house and have 3 medium sized dogs.. I have asthma and was not able to breath well.. I know it has only been a few days.. but I can breath SOOO much easier. I took all the air fresheners out of our home because they were causing irritation to my lungs and this keeps the house smelling pet-less, clean and fresh. So far I am extremely satisfied. We initially bought this because Oreck is a trusted name. But I just love it. Sure there is some noise if ran on high.. but I would expect that. Low and Medium are not very loud.
Purchased in Dec 2011. Only used it in warm months, probably 9 months total use. Compressor burnt out and company will not cover it. Only a one year warranty on everything. A lot of other companies warrant compressors for 5 yrs. Buy at your own risk, I'll never buy another one of their products.

Noisey except on low. Did not clean the air, the dust in room was actually worse than before as could be seen on my PC. Requires awkward placement which means footprint is larger than the top rated large room air purifiers. Circulation pulls from rear of machine and pushes air through front so it behaves like a high speed fan. Noise is so loud on medium or fast that it interferes with ability to hear normal conversation or music. Returned machine.
