I was overwhelmed with the thought of putting it together but it was pretty easy even though it took awhile to put together. Its a pretty good workout too!

Took a long time to put together. Makes a clicking noise when in use. Some of the bolts have to be tightened after use otherwise the handles may fall off. The bolts that hold the foot pedals on get hot to touch after about 30 min of use. There are plastic shavings on the floor, not sure where they are coming from. Definitely would not purchase this again.

I moved and no longer felt comfortable riding outside, and I have a little tiny eff apartment... I ordered this bike and in the past have lived in buildings with gyms and this bike is silent and folds up nicely to put in the corner of my apartment. I love it. The only problem I had was it came without any instructions to put together. It only had the seat to put on the handle bars, the remote holder, the pedals and the stands on the bottom. It freaked me out at first because I saw lots of nuts and bolts and wanted to use it right away, but I found the booklet on line from the manufacturer and then realized that if you looked at it logically it was easy. I was missing one washer, but I took one to home depot and matched it... so, yes you do have to put some parts together, but not all of it... Comes with tools. Once I took the parts out and laid it on the floor it took maybe 15 minutes to put it together and I was on it for a movie.... great value.

I am completely satisfied with the Exerpeutic 1000 High Capacity Magnetic Recumbent Bike with Pulse which I recently purchased from Walmart online. In fact, it is a better quality piece of equipment than I expected for the price. It runs very quietly and smoothly. The display monitor is easy to read and the tension control knob is easy to reach and adjust to the desired tension level. I highly recommend this piece of equipment as an affordable addition to your home gym or rec room. It is easy to lift and roll into another room, if needed, on the front end rollers.\n\nThe assembly was not difficult - it took me about an hour and a half. (Tip - match the wires marked with x's and short dashes to the white\/ground wire and match the wires marked with long dashes and letter marking to the red positive wire when assembling the two main body sections.)\n\nI appreciated the fast home delivery - two days ahead of the projected delivery date.

Received item ok took it out of box and set it up. Did not work. Called company and talked to several different people. The electrical connections where glued making it impossible to check. They never seemed to understand that and kept wanting me to check connections. Finally gave up and friend and I took it back to local Wal Mart where they refunded my money less shilpping charges. I contacted Wal Mart home office asking for an explanation of why I had to pay shippinig on piece of junk that never worked. SURPRISE! I have never received E Mail or anything from Wal Mart home office. I guess they really needed my $19.97 shipping but that will cost them more than that when I quit shopping at Wal Mart. More over them not having decency to contact me than the money. Not even David can slay this Goliath.

Very well constructed. Easy to assemble.

Package arrived partially open but I still accepted. Item damaged in some areas, secure bolts do not hold. More importantly, the so called digital display does not work at all. It was waste of my money.

It took a week for the bike to be delivered to my local store so that I could pick it up. Upon arrival to the store, I could see that the box was in poor shape, and had a large hole in it. I was concerned about the condition of the contents. My fears were confirmed when I got it home, and discovered that the box was missing the seat. The company has not acknowledged my e-mail our phone calls about getting a seat shipped to me. Fortunately, I had a seat from a bicycle available, and can use the bike. Despite these problems, it is an exceptional machine, and exceeded my expectations for quality. It's quiet, was easy to assemble, and does everything it claims to do. I have no issues with the computer reading the correct speed, as others have had, so maybe the company has taken corrective actions. Now if they would just send me my seat, I'd be completely happy with this product.

I bought t his treadmill and had a lot of problems putting it together. It was missing many parts; It was damaged (bent) with a cracked weld, and the connections for the computer wires were missing. I finally got a friend to help me put it together. The instructions were practically incomprehensible! Got it together (without the computer) and there was no tensioning device for the rollers. Therefore when I tried to use it (I wanted a walking speed) it just flipped me off the end. There was no way to regulate the speed! Dangerous. I took it back to WalMart and got a refund (but it didn't pay for shipping or my time and frustration.

Got error code after third use. The company was willing to take it back, but who wants to pack the huge machine back up. I'm using it even though I get the error code every other day.

Excellent value - space saving - tension control hard to turn, and the differences between the settings could be better. The display should be larger and brighter for ease of reading. Overall, very happy with purchase.

I really like this bike. Installation was alright. It took me about 50 minutes. I can tell it's well constructed. Very sturdy frame. Compare to the one I have, the 40 lbs cast iron flywheel does make the huge difference. The pedaling is much smoother than I thought. Tension control is simple as quick adjustment. I was afraid the crank might fall like the other review, but so far so good. I contacted their customer service for the crank issue. The customer service seems to be very nice. They told me the crank was fixed, they added the gear glue and gear washer to make sure the crank is fully secured. Looks like they are watching their products. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
