Bought this for my husband to lounge on since I prefer to sit. He says it's very comfortable. It was easy to put together and a nice complement to the other Crossman furniture we already have on the deck.
I guess this might be an OK set for the price except.......\n\nThe color of the cushions I got are not definatley not TAN...they are basically a GOLD mustard color with some light brown? and white threads in it (not totally awful..but not all that great). The fabric is shiny, not really good qaulity, polyester and one of the cushions that came with my set has flaws (the fabric is coming apart due to unraveled, frayed, and split threads) in 2 places on the front of the back rest of the cushion and 2 on the underside of the seat portion that not only detracts from the appearance...they will eventually unravel more and become larger splits\/ holes..\n\nAssembly should have been fairly easy, less time consuming, and able to be completed....but, due to the fact that the holes in the chair legs and frames don't line up, some of the holes are too small for the screws and I was sent the wrong bolts for the table legs....it was not!!!\n\nI called the customer service number provided on the direction sheets to get the correct bolts and a replacement cushion and, was to say the least, given the run around by 2 csr's (I called twice) about when I MIGHT get the bolts and the cushion...I was told by the first one I talked to that MAYBE I might get them in 10 days....but she couldn't\/wouldn't guarantee it.....When I called back the second one told me that it could take over 4 weeks if they didn't have the parts in stock...I asked if she could check on the their availablity and she said she didn't have the ability to do that and I could just take the set back to the store if I didn't want to wait for however long it might take to get the replacement parts.\n\nSince I didn't want to have the table sitting upside down in my living room partially assembled for who knows how long....I decided to purchase the 4 bolts and had to go to 3 different stores before I found the correct size....\n\nBecause I thought it best not to let the cushion problem linger on I called Walmart customer service (I probably should have just done that to begin with) to see if they could call the service department of Courtyard Creations (the manufacturer) to help me find out if and when I might get the cushion (I don't need the bolts now) and was told by the Walmart customer service rep that Courtyard Creations service department doesn't like to talk to them, and even though all I need is ONE replacement cushion Walmart can't send me just ONE cushion....they would have to send me FOUR replacement CHAIRS or I could wait for Courtyard Creations to send me one and Walmart would give me a $10 credit for my inconvenience ....I said I would think about it and call back .. When, within a couple of hours, I did call back, after trying to reach Courtyard Creations to speak to a supervisor and couldn't get through at all....the second Walmart customer service rep I talked to processed a return\/replacement request for 4 CHAIRS... which is pending...BUT according to the website....the Tan set is out of stock and when I asked about that his answer was that I have 15 days to decide if I want to authorize the request for a return\/replacement and if or when I do the replacement order will be processed and shipped....(how do you ship out of stock items???)...Four chairs (again it's just ONE cushion that is defective) will have to be returned to Walmart within 60 days or I will be charged for the 4 replacement chairs plus any shipping charges....Well, yes, ofcourse I will return 4 chairs...Hopefully, I can take ONE cushion out of the box of replacement chairs so I don't have to go through an entire repacking process...It just seems like a lot, too much, of hassle to go through for ONE replacement cushion!!!!\n\nIf the flaws in the fabric didn't effect the durability of the cushion I could force myself to live with it and put an end to this ....but, since they do..and I would, within a short amount of time and even with very little use, wind up with a cushion with holes..I can't and won't.\n\nIn all honesty, I really don't, at this point in time, know if I'll be able to, eventually, get ONE replacement cushion from Walmart since the tan set appears to be out of stock on the website or from Courtyard Creations since they just don't care about customer service or satisfaction and this 75 yr old widow might wind up having to take the table totally apart (the chairs don't have all the screws in them yet so they won't be as much bother) ...try to fit it all back into the boxes and return the entire set...but, I do know that I would never again buy, sight unseen, any patio furniture online ...especially if it's made by Courtyard Creations..My effort to save some money has cost me a lot of wasted time, frustration and inconvenience....and it's just not worth all the hassle I'm going through just to get ONE defective cushion replaced...
I was skeptical about the quality I would get, and it was on sale for under $300 at the time, so I decided to go ahead with the purchase.\n\nI am not a handy tool kind of gal, but I managed to put the entire set together without help from my husband as the directions were very easy to follow and straight forward, with pictures and diagrams.\n\nThe pros: the price and quality was shocking. I thought it would be weak, unsubstantial or very lightweight and easily blown over by the wind. Surprisingly, the construction was good. The only issue I had was in putting the round table together, the iron round support that attaches to the legs had one leg screw hole that did not align perfectly. I still managed to have it hold in place, but if the screws were slightly longer it wouldn't have been an issue otherwise as the support bar is circular and the legs' metal piece that attaches to the curved support bar isn't. So for one hole that could have been either aligned better or given one longer screw, it otherwise was an amazing deal for the quality.\n\nThe fabric is nice, almost a muted gold and stripe on one side, a sort of brownish color on the other side. It did have straps with velcro pieces to hold the cushion seats and backing in place, but that could have been done better. It suffices, but when I get to it, I may replace and re-sew thicker straps myself.\n\nI highly recommend. Toss in some colorful pillows and heating lamp with a standing umbrella cover and you have a very cute conversation piece area for your patio! All in a budget!
we looked in stores and on line for a conversation set, found it at Walmart....Had it delivered to the store, picked it up,bought it home and my Husband assembled it......piece of cake, all the parts and instructions were included. It is now on our patio and looks beautiful....very sturdy and made well..it has rained since then, cleans off great...I love the fact the pillows are reverseable,oh and the cushions make it very comfortable!!!! Thanks Walmart!!!!
We cannot get over how affordable this set is and it's such a pretty red! It really helps make our patio have that wow effect! It came in two separate shipments. We received table first then chairs the next day. Very easy to assemble! I love the cushion clips! They work well for us and do their job keeping cushions in place. The only issue we had...and we don't consider it a problem at all...the little caps that cover hardware on chairs don't want to stay on. Unless you plan on looking under chairs it's not noticeable or effect the sturdiness of the set!! We like this set so much I wanted to purchase another just to have extra seating! Please get them back in stock, online!!!
