Absolutely fun!!!! Had the time of my life playing this with the family. I really can not dance but this is helping me and I get a workout at the same time. Moves are easy but get harder with difficulty which is awesome. Be prepared to be in a bit pain the next morning if you are not used to working out
My wife had to give up her treadmill because of knees, the kids got her a used Wii. Our granddaughter showed me ma her dance 5 and granny was hooked. I needed to come up with a Just Dance and found Just Dance 3 on sale at Wal Mart, I ordered and 2 days later grandma is dancing up a storm.............fun, low impact excercise, on a budgit. Thanks, Wal Mart
I'm very satisfied with this buy. It's a fun activity for the kids and a fun workout for me!! Also, I can add more songs to the list buy purchasing Microsoft Points. Enjoy!!!
Great fun for kids and adults. I enjoyed it with my grandchildren! (Yes, I danced with them! Great selection of music and the instructions are clear and understandable---even for me! It would be great for a party (kids or adults), great for rainy day fun, and great just to enjoy with your children\/grandchildrean.
Seriously, a lot of fun!\nOnly played Bass so far.... (I like it so much, I am even going to try guitar!)\n\nPros: easy to play! Step by step instructions make it easy for brand new beginners.\nGreat for intermediate players too!\nAs you hit each note correctly- you level up in the middle of the song. If you start to miss- you level down. Keeps it fun and the song still sounds good when you miss. ( I hate in Rockband when you miss- you lose the rhythm of the song and don't have enough music to get back in the groove.)\nIt is SO satisfying when you see new notes coming down and you figure out where they go!\n\nCons: takes time to load between songs and whenever you change anything.\nSloppy play is not penalized. So long as you hit the note... It counts!\n\nDon't treat this as an \"end all\" to learn to play guitar or bass. If you really want to learn- take a class or hire an instructor.\nBut if you want have fun and play some music- you don't need lessons- just get this game!\nIt is seriously, awesomely, satisfying!
My kids and I love this game. My husband just likes to watch. Only problem with them game is I wish there were alot more songs to sing, songs to unlock after completing taks on game and a way to add new songs, even if I have to purchase them if I want.....point here.....more songs people!! But overall, this game is alot of fun and easy to use.
My husband and I both thoroughly enjoy playing this game. It actually teaches you to play the guitar and\/or bass, so that makes it a great value since it's cheaper than paying for lessons! It's also a fun way to practice. It's great for beginners to learn the frets and chords, but it also challenges you to play better so it works for the intermediate players, too. We love it. The only complaint is that we have found a couple of minor errors, like the game showing you one note on the screen but giving you credit if you hit one fret higher. This was only on one song though.
