I had a great experience with the WalMart online ordering process as well as at the store for pick up that same day. The grill is a great product for the price $149. Stainless steel and a side burner with good, clean looks. It is not a exceptional quality of a $400-500 grill - but that is not what I wanted. This is a good grill at a good price - we are happy with it.
Frist thing, I hate Gas Grill, I say why grill outdoors on a gas grill when you can do that indoors. Im a charcoal grill kind of guy (always). This Char-Broil 800 looks like a gas grill, but not! I like the two panel grill trays, you can have two diff meats going at two diff temps at the same time (kool) also the storage area is large you can putall your stuff under it. I'm pleased with my buy.
I live in an apartment complex with a small patio. Apartment rules no charcoal or 20lb gas tanks but can have 1lb gas tanks so I got a dozen lol. I was worried about how much gas it would use don't be. I cooked on it 3 times on one tank chicken, steaks, and chops and works great very satisfied.
Great grill for family activities\nI love the pullout charcoal remover\nThe built in charcoal feeder is a great extra\nThree racks of meat and your done for the day\nCook with a metal bowl of water for super tender meat
This is the perfect grill for me. It took me about 1 1\/2 hrs to put together (I had 3 four legged supervisors) and used it last night for the first time. I was easy to use and cooked the chicken beautifully. I will be using this grill a lot.
I LOVED THIS GRILL IT WORKED ALL SUMMER LONG IT FOLDED UP WENT AWAY AFTER USE AND I WAS ABLE TO BUY THE PROPANE AT CVS .......I TRUELLY LOVED IT AND IT HELD MANY SUMMER BBQS ......I LOST IT WHEN HURRICANE SANDY CAME AND NOW IM TRYING TO PURCHASE IT AGAIN AND IT IS OUT OF STOCK.........I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GRILL IT REALLY DID WORK FOR ME & MY HUSBAND AND OUR 6 KIDS :-)
Didn't end up buying it from Walmart, ordered online and when I picked it up from the local store I had a better price from a competitor and the local store told me they didn't honor the price match if you bought online so I returned the BBQ .
It doesn't make my small bedroom cold, just comfortable at medium speed +cool setting with a little crack in the window behind it. My bedroom is on the third floor, heat accumulates in the summer and isn't liveable.
1500W electric heat system with auto shut-off function
What our shoppers say:
Love it!! Our family takes it camping and is so light weight. A lot cheaper than buying a bunch of charcoal all the time. Just hook it up to the campsite electrical source and cook away. It also works great by keeping food warm. We have cooked a pan of lasagna, ears of corn, hot dogs, steaks. Great buy in store for $54.00.
Went to the Greenville, OH store to pick up this grill. I waited 20 minutes at the site to store counter before anyone waited on me. Associates walked by me constantly and never asked if I needed help with anything. This is not the first time this has happened at this particular store. The first time I gave a pass, but not now. It's ridiculous and needs to be addressed! Needless to say I will never buy on-line again and have it shipped to this particular store.
I use this stuff every time I grill or smoke! It has a very clean burn and no additives. I use a chimney to get it started. Burns really HOT and doesn't leave very much ash behind. Best thing about Hardwood Lump Charcoal is when your done using it you can put it out with water and reuse what didn't burn next time after it dries out. Be very careful when you poor the water on it so you don't burn yourself from the steam. I have recommended this Hardwood Lump Charcoal to everyone that I know and they love it as well!!!
Main burners: 12,000 BTUs; side burner: 12,000 BTUs

Easy to assemble
I was searching all the reviews on barbeques and decide to give this one a second look...Fast shipping and was all together and cooking in about a little over an hour....Very easy assembly compared to other grills I have put together....I hope it stands up!! Time will tell....
I purchased this grill a month ago and we have been using it non stop. It fits nicely on my balcony and the sides fold up inside when I'm not using it. I detached from the stand and took it to our local park and we grilled all day. This hands down the best grill I have ever owned. you can use the small portable gas containers or you can buy the hose adapter ($15.95) and connect to the larger tank. Very easy clean up. the cast irone grill pops out for easy cleaning and with the electric ignition I am no longer throwing a match and running for my life. Again Best grill ever!
Nice grill especially for the price. Cooks even, side burner works good (only have used it once so far). Also like the covered area and double doors to hide your propane tank away. Only downfall I see, no where to hang your grill utensil. But I just use the side shelf.\nAlmost when picking one out at store. Look them over at store pretty good. Some of them seemed to be put together in a rush, while a couple others were in good shape.
This Grill is a piece of Junk. Porcelain lid began fracturing on it's own, without even touching it. The concrete weight in the base was broken. I was careful to unpack and assemble this grill. My neighbor was watching me assemble this grill when she said the porcelain began to fracture near the hinge that was installed at the factory. The weight in the base fell out into pieces when I carried it to my rear deck area. It gets worse! When I called Walmart.com, after several minutes going through all their prompts which seem to be designed to thoroughly frustrate any caller into hanging up long before getting the chance to talk to a human I was told my only option was to disassemble this junk and repack it into the original carton and tack it back to a UPS store and send it back. I asked if I had the option of ordering replacement parts and was told I did not. I told the girl at Walmart.com that I was taking this junk back to my local Walmart in it's assembled form and they could do whatever they what with it. Walmart dropped the ball on this one!
