Tried it as soon as I got in the mail. Worked well on my motorcycle battery. It took about 5.5 hours to charge a almost dead battery.

Made this purchase solely due to reviews published. Followed the directions to charge it for 36 hours and then plug it in to dead battery. Truck had been sittlng the better part of a year, and of course wouldn't start. Before I replaced the battery I wanted to see if it would even charge. It started right up, although ran a bit raggedly. Left the charger in place for another 24hrs and it started up and ran great, even when I disconnected the battery charger. Had other chargers over the years, but really like the features of this one, and of course, the price.

Maintains the battery on my Harley very well. A quick disconnect plug allows me to plug the charger on to the battery without removing the cover.

For the price it's everything you need in a charger for scooters, Lawn tractors, and boat batteries. It will not even start to charge until you have it properly connected. You can even touch the leads together and not get a spark, which I am sure we have all done before. It will give you a voltage read out or a percent of charge.\nI am very happy with it as are my friends.

For my money; WalMart far surpases all of my automotive needs, I am 70 years old and I know\nwhats good and the right price., this schumacher marine battery charger far exceeds my expect-\nations and goes waaayyy beyond what I needed. I have a Battery and this charger which tells me\nmore that the Fleet Battery Charger I bought for my cars needs, I even purchase my battery acid\nat WalMart, I have all I need and more from WalMart !! Thank you Walmart.

Good overall quality. I bought a 12v accessory estension cord and put this thing under my front seat as it is kind of loud (fan running and whatnot). I use this to run my kids DVD players in my vehicle and it works great for that. We shall see how well it holds up over the course of time.

Purchased this in store to replace old charger that I had for 10+ years. 1st one was DOA. Second one I used 2 times, died after 6 weeks of purchase.

i bought this yesterday after using a friends jumper cables and trying to jump my car, with no luck. i charged it for about 12 hours (over night) and just used it to jump my car ('02 Eclipse). started on the first try. using an extension cord to charge this product is probably best, the prongs are sticking straight out of the back of the unit, but i just stacked some books under it and plugged it straight into the wall. quick initial charge (even though it says 36 hours for initial charge) easy to use, so much better then jumper cables because no one has to be around when you need a jump. definite must have.

Got it to keep another car that spends most of the winter in the garage charged, and saves me going out every day and running the engine. We've had a run of single digit nights and the charger has kept the battery at 100%. When I do start the engine, it roars to life like summertime, strong as a bull. Best investment in a valuable accessory, I ever made. I love the readings for the condition of the battery also. Gives great peace of mind on these cold Pa. nights that all is well out in the garage.

We bought this on 01\/14\/2012 specifically to jump our Chevrolet Silverado and it worked great. We only needed it once to jump our truck. Since then we mostly used it to air up a lawn tractor tire or two. We've taken it on road trips as extra security, but for our last trip at the end of April 2013 we noticed it wasn't recharging. So after minimal use throughtout 15 months or so it has become useless. The manufacturer's warranty is only for a year, so now we are out of pocket. It may work great for a few months but it isn't worh the $80 (after taxes).

A very inexpensive, simple to use, Light weight battery charged.\nI bough one just like it in 1971 (44 years old) still working, but case is falling apart.\nI will get another at this price. I have a lot of Lead acid batteries.

One piece of advice if you purchase this keep off of carpet it can get very warm after long use I followed instructions and just to be safe follow the instructions as well otherwise it works great with portable electric coolers or whatever you have

All the lights were were dimly working, and the cooling fans whirred up, but no voltage output. Item seemed to have already been used, returned and restocked as the cable ties were off and it had that layer of garage grime and dirt already on it.

Compact and handy for those times when you need a jump start

I bought one of these several years ago and if the battery is flat dead, it will not start charging. You have to hook up jumper cables or a manual battery charger until it gets a few volts, then it will take over. It definitely needs a dead battery mode or button.\n\nIf the battery is just run down but to low start start the car(like 8 or 10 volts) it works great.

I used this to charge 2 completely dead car batteries with no problem. It took a day and a half for both I thought it was a long time but like I said they were dead..

Bought this 2\/14\/2013 before I read the reviews. Here's the thing. You have to disconnect the battery cables before this will work. Connect the wires directly to the battery. Don't ground it to the chassis. The fan will come on and all the lights will work. I monitered this thing every two hours, because of some of the bad reviews. I let it charge for eight hours. No problems. Car started right up. This is a small unit for the money and not to be used regularly. It's good to keep around the house. The thing I hated most was the \"do not return to store\" message. So I got to pay postage? The nice lady at checkput say I could purchase a warrenty for an extra four dollars. Couldn't afford that. Took a gamble and it worked out. This thing is not for every day use. Use it occasionaly and you'll be fine.

I bought this for my husbandfor an extra heater plug-in and with 2 plugs ins and a usb port he can charge anything that has a regular plug and the wattage is just awesome so he is covered on anything i can think of lol It gives extra plugs and the digital display is just cool I would recommend this inverter to all my friends and even people I don't know.

Tried the item out in my car and it never produced hot air only cold air came out of the heater.
