I raised all three of my children on Similac! I tried other brands, but none of them were rich enough to satisfy my babies. As soon as I switched over to Similac they were happy, slept better and I saw the weight gain that you want in a newborn.

Similac Advance is a great formula! Very expensive! My son was on it, until I decided to switch him to a cheap brand, Parent's Choice Advantage. Just as good. I see no difference!

I bought this set of bottles after having received a free sample bottle in the mail from Similac. I liked the shape of the nipple (since I breast and bottle-feed) and the style of the bottle. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, these bottles leak. I'm not sure if the nipple doesn't fit correctly or if you just can't twist the lid on tightly enough, but when mixing formula in them, milk just leaks out. And, when feeding my baby, milk runs out (its not a drip, it truly RUNS out), especially when I turn the bottle back upright. His clothes always end up soaked when using these bottles. I have stopped using them because they are not worth the hassle.

I was given the 4oz version of this bottle (with level 1 nipple) by my son's pediatrician because my son has a congenital heart defect..... so he could eat without having to work too hard to get it out of the bottle and couldn't collapse the nipple as he constantly did with other bottles. After a while, he got so he was getting stronger and putting on weight due to the formula switch (Enfamil newborn to Similac Advanced).... now he's using the 8oz bottle with the level 2 nipple for the formula.

My baby had feeding issues since he came home from the hospital. He was always crying and spitting up alot. I used about six different formulas and nothing is better than this one. His gassiness has gotten better and he doesn't cry or spit up after feeding with this formula. It mixes very well but is bubbly. If you prepare it in advance then the bubbles subside. i am very happy that this formula works for my baby because I don't have to buy the pricier hypoallergenic formula. This formula is also a little pricey but I receive discount checks from similac in the mail because I signed up on their website, plus I use the 20-25% off coupons that CVS Pharmacy sends me in the mail. Just today I purchased 4 of these tubs and with my coupons I paid $72.

I strictly breastfed my baby until 6 months old. Then he was eating so much solid foods (he was an 11 pound baby at birth so i had to start him on solids early to help his appetite). He weaned hisself from breastfeeding. So i had to start supplementing formula. I was using the Baby's Only Dairy Organic Formula until the news came out this year saying it had arsenic in it. I switched to this Similac formula. He eats solid foods but in between drinks 3-4 bottles of this a day. He likes it! He loved the Baby's Only formula but seems to like this just as well. He rarely spits up so i believe it's easy on their belly's! Plus it disolves very easily....much faster than the Baby's Only kind i was using. I stir this formula after mixing with water. I think stirring the formula cuts down on bubbles which causes gas. My baby rarely has gas. I have been using this formula for months now and it has never upset my baby's belly. My baby sleeps 11 hours straight a night! This is great formula!!

We switched from similac advance to this one because our baby was spitting too much. We used only 1 bottle that was enough to show us that wouldn't work. Our baby end up having projectile spit ups and constipation.\nWe end up going back to advance. We also just learn that she has acid reflux which is being treated with prescribed medication.

This is good stuff if your child suffers from milk protein allergy\/intolerance. Be aware, this product has different ingredients than the powder, specifically it contains no corn. My son happened to be sensitive to the corn in the powder and since we made the change to ready-to-feed based on his GI dr's recommendation his symptoms have drastically improved. Only downside is it's more expensive than other formulas, but worth it in my opionion (especially when you have no choice!)

My daughter was originally on Enfamil Premium Infant Formula but she had HORRIBLE bouts of crying, gassiness, stomache cramps and hardening, spit-up and farted like CRAZY! First we switched her bottles and binkys, then I started boiling everytime I washed them, then we tried holding her differently when feeding her, burping her more often; we got so desparate to ease her tummy trouble that we were giving her Little Tummies Gripe Water or Smithecoe drops 2 times a day, which is not something you want to get in the habit of because then the child may come to depend on medicine to function properly. Everything helped a little, but eventually it was back to the hours of crying. Her Doc gave me little advice on how to manage it, simply concluding that my child was colicky. But I decided to switch her when she nearly choked to death on spit-up while I was burping her. I went to the similac website and took their formula quiz and was recommended the Similac Sensitive for Fussiness and Gas. The first few days saw no change, but shoppers, I assure you, my baby is a totally different person today. She is happy and we look forward to feeding time when we both used to dread it. The changes have been absolutely remarkable and I am so thankful for this brand of formula, it is the only kind I will ever use!

My daughter was born a month early and was only 4lbs 12 oz. She spent 10 days in the NICU and they sent her home on this formula. She has been gaining weight very well and thriving on this formula. I just wish it came in a larger container. It mixes well and doesn't stain.

My daughter is on the similac soy ready feed and it is very hard to find cases of this kind. Without any coupons or sales, its expensive buying each bottle seperately. I was very happy to find that walmart sells cases online and ships directly to my home. The price is good and It always arrives quicker then the arrival date given which is a big plus!!!!

I love this bottle! I tried vent air and Dr. Browns and neither worked for my son! I had over 20 bottles from baby showers etc... and I got this one free in the mail from subscribing to numerous websites. I tried it and it worked wonderfully for him! He had a bit of tummy troubles and this bottle worked grea!t We did not have them at the town I live in, so I have to order all of these products online.We are now on level 2 and it works great for adding a bit of rice in it and going to go all the way up with the nipples to Y. I recommend this to any parent who is having problems with stomach issues with their baby. It worked wonderfully, also people that breastfeed, it works well as a transition bottle! I ordered all the bottles, the bottle cap to put formula in (love that as well), and now just have to order new nipples as we need them. The price is great for the quality bottle you get! All together everything that you can get with this bottle is overall wonderful!

When I first purchased this bottle, I figured that it was going to be a great one because it was made by one of the biggest formula companies on the shelves right now. I feel I was wrong. First we bought the bottles before we had our baby in an effort to be prepared and unfortunately the shape of the nipple isn't working for him (even though in the hospital we were given the Similac single serve bottles with a similar shaped nipple). He breaks suction on the nipple no matter what we do and ends up gulping air. We couldn't use the rubber stirring device because it whips the formula if it's anything less than four ounces, thus causing more air in the formula. The lids and nipples leak sometimes but that can really be said about most bottles. I do really like the vent on the nipple. That actually worked out really well and I'll be looking for that when I look for replacements. The only other thing that bothers me (and it may just be because they are plastic) if you try to put them in any type of bottle warmer that works off steam, the plastic actually deteriorates and starts to crack. None of them have started to leak out of the bottom where this micro cracks are, but one bottle is starting to look very brittle.

We tried everything for our son from gas drops to different sleeping positions and nothing helped the gas and the pain he was in. Then we remembered that my husband was lactose intolerant when he was a baby so we switched to this and it solved all our problems. My son now sleeps 3-4 hour at a time and is very happy (4-weeks). I love the liquid for the night time feedings so we can just run to the kitchen and poor a bottle and done. It's great for when you're in a hurry. Going to get the powder so it will last longer though.

Glad that Walmart has this online service for this baby product. Baby enjoys the milk and mom enjoys the convenience of online shopping at a great value price.
