Story

100 never looked better, Brenda Jackson did not disappoint with her 100th novel. Lee Madaris display passion to the utmost. Carly is running scared from love, when Lee tries to outsmart his grandmother, he never thought he would find love. Brenda combines the right amount of love, drama and suspense in this one. It was great to be reacquainted with other family members and friends.

I enjoy all of Brenda Jackson's novel. They are very romantic and the endings are always happy.

Love the book!

This is a Brenda Jackson classic at it's best, it has all the great elements of a good story - passion, romance, suspense, drama, family issues and great secondary characters. Lee Madaris is the epitome on a gentleman. He has the ability to spark fire to the flame just by entering into your . He was such an intriguing man in this story. He wrote the book on "courting" - WOW - he has the power to make you loose your mind with all the wonderful and special things he does to let you know that you are his only desire. He chose Carly and he let her know that she was the passionate woman that he desires for now and forever. Yes, it was lust at first site with these two but it was the passion they felt for one another that kept them intriguing through out the story. This is wonderful suspense love story that will keep you turning the pages until the last word is read. You will fall in love with the main characters. This is Mrs. Jackson 100th book and it is a very good one.

This is a fabulous story! The cover caught my eye and I love a good holiday read to get in the spirit of the holidays. Lee and Carly are a sizzling couple to get to know and their love blossoms along with all the action. This book brought it all good people working for success, the bad element and the agencies that police it all from the background. Even when Lee thinks he is one step ahead of his feisty grandmother she has a surprise for him. Mama Laverne is definitely in a class by herself. A must read and get extra copy to share, your friend, sister or mom would to find this in their stocking. Happy Reading!

Very good book to read.

Sometimes you see a person and there is an instant attraction. An attraction that can not be described in words but that takes over your whole body. That is the type of attraction that Lee Madaris & Carly have. And once they shared an unexpected kiss, Lee knew he would never forget this woman. A second meeting is a sign that this is the woman for him. Couple that with his desire to outsmart the family matriarch and you will be in for a great ride.
Lee decides to use their attration to solve his problem of being setup for marriage. Claiming to Carly that this arrangement is not a love match but a strong pull of attraction. Carly fights the desire due to their working relationship as long as she can. But we all know that when a handsome Madaris Man comes calling not many women hang up the phone. She soon gives in and sets off on an adventure of fun and danger.
In her 100th book, Brenda Jackson proves that she still knows a good love story. She weaves in the family history so that you feel like you are visiting old friends. We even got to revisit some of our favorite family & friends. Love, adventure, danger, family and friends is a recipe that keeps the fire burning. I guarantee you that you will read this book at least twice to make sure you did not miss any of the story.
