We tried various diets which included kibble and dehydrated patties to help our dog lose weight. None worked for long. Wellness Core has worked the best. She has lost 3 lbs. (now 21#), looks great, has real energy, and now walks 3 miles a day. She gobbles it down. Thanks for a great product.

I didn't try this myself, but my dogs loved it!

My canine is not itching as much as previously so it's my thinking that this grain free wet food has helped a lot.  A vet will prescribe steroids however I prefer prevention naturally (when possible).  This food does cost more and in my opinion naturally correcting problems is better than the side effects prescriptions will cause

My Leonberger has always been fed high quality dry dog food and has maintained a consistent weight and energy level for 12 years, but during his last checkup he had lost about 5 pounds of muscle mass which besides his age, I attributed this to his recent lack of interest in eating. He knows he's part of the family and when we sat down to eat, he'd go to his bowl and eat too, but he started eating less so I wanted to add an incentive for him to eat more by mixing wet food in with the dry.  He's still loves his long walks and chasing squirrels around the yard so I wanted to make sure he was getting enough nutrition and calories as well as drinking plenty of water to support his level of activity.

I researched many brands and Wellness Core always came out on top with regard to nutritional value for older dogs. It costs quite a bit more than other canned dog foods, but if you compare the ingredients you'll see that it's worth it. It has a paté like consistency versus brands that have meat chunks and gravy, so it takes about a minute to mix in half a can with about 2 cups of dry food  but that allows it to stick to the dry food better and keeps him from eating too fast.

This dog food is a go to when we want to give our dog a break from his regular food.  Our dog loves this food.  It has a good texture.

All 3 of my dogs absolutely love this food!! Does actually smell like its fish products and not just another can of dog food. Since feeding them this food, their coats have improved and less SHEDDING!

so far so good with this dog food now dog has a lot of allergies and stomach issues so this is been working out pretty good for her

My dog has eaten this food for her whole life. She is now 8 years old. , I have noticed in the last 2 cases I have purchased, the food is not very firm as if it needs to “cook” longer. She also doesn't seem to like it as well.  Just wondering if the recipe has changed, I do not like switching her food around as I do not want to mess up her system,

I am extremely disappointed with this product.  The bad is on me for not reading the ingredients label, but I trusted Wellness that their main label was accurate (Whitefish, Salmon & Herring).  My boxer has chicken allergies and had a severe outbreak.  It took me some time to finally figure out that is was this food - whose number 1 ingredient is Chicken.  The label is highly deceptive and misleading and I want to warn other people especially if your dog has a sensitivity or allergy to Chicken. I no longer trust this company or intend to purchase your products.  Now back to the dermatologist we go...thanks Wellness...NOT!!
