A very good choice for smaller dogs

My 2 year old pug is extremely picky. She will go days without eating. It's always stressful in the morning when I need her to eat before dog day care and she sniffs her food bowl and walks away like the food is trash. Then I have to spend the day worrying about her being hungry. I got her the wellness core weight control for small breeds (she needs to lose 3 pounds because I gave her too much ice cream and peanut butter) and the wellness core mini meals for small breeds. She gets half a cup of the kibble and a packet of the mini meal each day. I haven't seen her this excited to eat her dog food since she was a puppy.

I have been feeding my pup this food for almost 5 months. My pup has lost 1.6 lbs. I followed the guidelines on the label. I am truly happy with my pups Weight now. The ingredients are fantastic and I love the high protein. I wouldn't think high protein would help with my pups weighloss but, it did. I am very impressed. My pup has more energy because she's eating more protein than carbs. My vet even said she was impressed on my pups health and to keep it up. Lastly, my pup loves the taste! Small bites and easily digestible.

My very picky doggies favorite dry food! This is literally the only kind they will eat. I love it because I know it's quality ingredients and they are getting the nutrition they need.

Dogs are eating it, we keep the dry food for emergencies, and they usually only eat fresh cooked food. Must be tasty if our spoiled dogs eat it.

One of my fur kids was getting chubby so attempted switch to weight control.  Despite slow introduction of just a few pieces of the weight control to their regular Core Small Dog food the weight control formula led to diarrhea and flatulence.  We returned to the regulat Core diet.  I guess I will just have to try to get my chubby girl more exercise.

Why is the protein level so high for your senior and weight reduction foods? Typically, dogs needing a senior and/or weight control diet need lower protein levels in addition to lower fat. Love the ingredients in the food, especially since it is not all chicken, but the protein levels are too high.
