Like many other reviewers here my 15 year old cat with kidney disease stopped eating her prescription food so I researched online and saw this food recommendation.  It has changed her life literally!  Her weight is back to normal because she loves the food and her test results have come back great.  I'm so thankful to have found this food.

Good for my CKD senior cat

I chose this to supplement the renal diet my 2 senior cats were prescribed.  They picked at the prescription diet.  This choice is very close to the phosphorous amt in prescription food and phosphorous is very important in cats with chronic renal failure.  My cats love it!  So they eat well and it is appropriate to their condition.

Not sure what this means

I'm so grateful for wellness morsels and wellness core. We have adopted at different times two senior cats with different health issues, few or no teeth and both on wet food only diets. After trying many foods, we found that both loved morsels!!!! And one of them loved wellness core duck. I had to leave a review primarily as a massive thank you! I don't know what it is but our cats who've had a hard time eating, have pain in their mouths, hard time smelling, love this food!

As another reviewer noted, my guy is early stages renal issues at 17 yrs old.  The fact that Wellness has kept the phosphorus levels low and protein at a moderate level, as well as including healthy ingredients and that they make their nutrient profile so accessible to view was my call to try them.  And the fact my guy loves them is icing on the cake. He was starting to lose weight on the prescription stuff because he just doesn't like it. There are very few brands out there to choose from so I am so very grateful to have found this one.

Grateful for something my senior can and will eat!

My senior cat (15 yrs. old)  was diagnosed with renal failure 2 months ago. He also has diabetes. He refused to eat the food prescribed for him.  I did a search for foods that  were low in phosphorus, carbs and lower protein. I found the Healthy Indulgence line. He loves them!!  He is eating again!! Thank you for making this food. I am so glad I found the Wellness line. I have two other cats and from now on I will be buying your quality food for all three cats.

Good food for my Renal cat.

Our family cat was recently diagnosed with renal disease/chronic kidney disease.  She started off liking the prescription diet, but quickly showed signs of boredom.  I found the Wellness Healthy Indulgences through "Tanya's Comprehensive Guide to Feline Chronic Kidney Disease" and saw how the dry matter protein and phosphorous are well matched to several of the prescription diets.  I did a little more homework, and found other renal kitty owners recommending the Wellness Healthy Indulgence.  Our kitty dives right into the Wellness Healthy Indulgence.  She loves it and licks the plate clean.  As anyone with renal kitties know, you have to keep them eating.  Now we can alternate foods and flavors which really helps pique her food interest and appetite.  Thank you Wellness.  Great product.

My 13 year old teacup persian loves chunky food but  we had to put her on pate cause the chunky and shredded formulas were bothering her stomach. Found these in our local pet store and figured I would give it a try and treat her. Fed her the normal turkey soft pate and added the chunks to her food. This formula worked great. I have a happy kitty who now knows what the package looks like.

Our 13 yo cat has suddenly become very finicky about her food.  We've been going crazy trying to find something healthy that she'll eat.  On a whim, and honestly,  without much hope, I picked up a few of these packets in Chicken/Duck and Chicken/Turkey. She appears to really like them.  Instead of sniffing and walking away, she tucked right in and ate vigorously.   It's been 3 days, fingers crossed she'll continue to enjoy it.  Thanks for your product.  Please don't stop making it.  The foil packs are great!

Finicky cat approved!

My cat loves this flavor, it's probably his favorite one. He loves that this flavor usually comes with a ton of gravy/juices but I wish it would be a little more balanced. He licks up all of the gravy and leaves the bites on his plate and wastes it. I feed him the Morsels because they are the lowest in phosphorus and ash. Actually, I switched him off of his prescription Hill's wet food because this is lower in phosphorus and ash (by quite a bit actually. Check the wet food dietary values chart on catinfo.org), it's cheaper or at least comparable in price, it's infinitely better quality, and it's so much easier to get, any pet store carries it and I don't need a pointless prescription for it either! One other minor complaint is that the pouches don't always open all the way so I have to squeeze his food out through two little openings. Besides the extra gravy and sometimes annoying pouches, we love this food! He looks amazing, super soft and shiny fur and he got a clean bill of health at his last checkup :)

Great Quality & Lowest Phosphorus Content!

Almost a great food if it were not for its extremely high sodium level.  Otherwise could be a good option for senior kitties.
