Is there any way of finding out how to work the camera and what the settings do

Thank you for your question.  The KODAK PIXPRO AZ528 Astro Zoom Camera does not have a dedicated "Museum" setting, but you may disable the flash or select a scene mode that does not utilize flash for shooting inside a museum.

There is no particular museum setting, but in most modes you can force the flash to be off.
