Considering that it says it isn't for color treated hair, I would say that it wouldn't be color safe.

It is ok for color treated hair, but there is a Ultime specifically for Colored Hair.

Although this one doesn&#39;t specify for colored hair, I haven&#39;t had any issues with using it on mine. Also from what I can tell they have one for color treated hair.

I also purchased it because I color my hair alot, I am always wanting something different. It was amazing for my hair. My hair was becoming coarse and dry because of me coloring it several times this last month. I used the ULTIME Omega Repair and Moisturizing Shampoo and within 3 washings it had my hair feeling soft and silky again. I have received several compliments on my hair last week or so.

I purchased this item due to the $3 off coupon on the bottle.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I really like the smell and how soft it makes my hair.  I have since purchased the conditioner, deep repair treatment jar and the hair spray.

My new shampoo choice!

I have very thick, curly, long hair. It is often hard to manage and gets damaged, especially in the winter it gets very dry. So finding a good product to keep it in good manageable condition is hard to find. When I saw this was available I had to get it and try it out.

I have tried it every day since I've had it. I have indeed noticed a difference in my hair. The first few days I couldn't really tell a difference at all. As time went on though, I could tell a difference with each use. My hair isn't as dry now, even with the wind and snow whipping around. It wasn't a quick fix, but it has defiantly done my hair some good. I think it may work better with a finishing creme or after shower product. I like this product enough to get another bottle when this one runs out. I may also get a finishing creme if there is one available.

Overall I would recommend it. It wasn't a quick fix for me, but it has made a difference. If you are looking to try it, getting a small bottle to check it out might be a good way to go.

Works Well

Wow this shampoo is awesome it has a soft texture it is like washing your hair with silk that make you feel like an expensive set of pearls. I would recommend this shampoo to friends and family who love to have moisture and if you need taming for those bad hair days then this shampoo is for you. I also love the smell of this shampoo it leaves your hair smelling like your favorite perfume.

wonderful feeling

I really like this shampoo a lot for my dry and damaged hair.  It helps with knots and smooths my hair in the shower and most importantly I didn't pull out tons of hair shampooing like I usually do with other shampoos.

Great product for dry knotty hair!

Schwarzkopf makes excellent quality products and this conditioner proves it. It's silky, has a nice smell but it is not overpowering, did not give me a rash. I used it with Schwarzkopf essence ultime shampoo. I only wish they would bring back their Citré shampoo and conditioner, but these are just as good.

I have silver grey hair and am constantly looking for a shampoo that makes it shine and this does
the trick. It added bounce and a healthy feel. It says it dries quicker and it really did feel dryer even
after just the towel dry. I did not need the usual mouse for styling however it seemed to leave a
coating on the hair that made it slick so even combs would not stay in. It takes only a very small
amount to create lather and takes some extra to feel it is rinsed out. I like this product and compared to most of the major brands I have used it preforms well.

Brings out the shine!

I bought this product along with the conditioner to try it out. I must say I was impressed with the outcome. I've only used it once and have already noticed the difference when I styled my hair for work in the morning. My hair feels softer and looks great! I tested Ultimw as part of a contest but I have no problem continuing to purchase this one.

Works great!

I have extremely dry, damaged hair, and no shampoo has helped. I have never been so amazed by a shampoo after just one use! My split ends are out of control. I am constantly in search of a hair care line that actually does what it says it will.
Usually you have to wait weeks to see a small difference...most of the time there isn't any change at all I used Omega Repair & Moisture Shampoo one time & I saw less of those little 'fly-aways' that have bothered me for so long! I am so happy & cannot wait to see what my hair will look like over the next few weeks! If it can for mine, there is no doubt in my mind it can work for you as well.
It has a pleasant smell that does not overwhelm. Try it & see for yourself. This is an excellent product & you will not be disappointed!

Great Product

I tried the Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Omega Repair and Moisture Shampoo. The bottle is big and its easy to open. The shampoo does not have a great smell to it though. I was expecting it to smell like flowers, or not have a scent at all. I'm not sure if Omega Oil has a smell but if so maybe that is the smell I am smelling when I smell it? The smell is very off putting for me. If it wasn't for the smell it would most likely get a higher rating from me.

As far as it doing it's job as a shampoo it works well. It made suds, and there was plenty I use roughly a quarter size because I have long hair. It rinsed out good, I normally do 3-4 rinses, but with this I did about 5 just to make sure it was all out.

I personally wouldn't seek this out in the store. Others might like this, but this product just was not for me.
