I needed this.  I'm always on my phone, talking to friends and family, using Face Time and Zoom calls, and for making short videos to share on social media, but it's never bright enough.  Lighting in my house is just indoor lighting and not a lot of outdoor light coming in.  I've seen these and thought to myself, I need one.  So, I decided to get this.  This one is great for several reasons.  The light ring is a really big, 18 inches, so it provides a lot of light, and you have the option to use any of the colors it comes with and/or variations of those colors, which is so cool, and you can adjust it per your mood or depending on what you're using the light ring for.  I love the colors!!  I love how bright it can get.  I love that I have control over adjusting it up or down, or dimming it.  It comes with 3 different-sized phone cradles.  It has usb ports in the back, if you need to use those.  It comes with a handy carrying bag so it's easy to store and move around as needed and comes with an adjustable stand that adjust up to 61 inches (wow!).  You just have to plug in the light to use it and comes with a wireless remote that takes 2 AA batteries.   It's very easy to put together.  Loosen knobs to adjust stand and tighten when you have it at a height that you want it at.  Same with the light ring adjustment.  Loosen it to place on the top of the stand and tighten it when it's sitting straight on it.  The other knob, just to the bottom right of the light, is to adjust the angle of the light.  Just loosen and tighten when you have it set to an angle you like.  On the actual light ring base, it has a few manual buttons for light on and off and for white light or color lights.  By pressing and holding the on and off buttons, you can dim it or brighten it manually.  On the remote, it has a "Tune Color" left/right button, which you can use to adjust color tones.  Another great option, in my opinion!  If you hit the FX button on the remote, the colors swirl around and again, you can click on the tune color button to switch through different colors.  This is a really fun and super cool purchase and I'm already using it and love it!

Wow! I'm in Awe with this Amazing Light Ring!

User friendly… adds additional light and focuses more on to the subject when taking videos or photos. Its multiple functions are exquisite. aside from its triple device holders, light's can be changed into different colors that adds  variety of choices to its background theme..definitely it serves its purpose. and I'm loving it. Now, i can make more better reels☺️🤗

Inadequate lighting no More☺️

I purchased this ring light for my Granddaughter who turns 13 on Christmas Eve so that she doesn't get short changed due to Christmas...I think she will enjoy it because she can take better pictures and videos as well as keeping her phone chaged with the built in charger and a nice remote Vivitar is an awesome brand... she's going to be so happy 😊

Missing remote

I love the size of the ring light but it's a piece of light broke on it when I opened it.  They should be handled with better care.

Completely missing 2 pieces and the phone holder is so flimsy it won't hold up the phone. It is very bright though.

Dont Get this if you want Dynamic angles. If you plan on using this for any angle besides just 100% vertical, look for something else. Where the ring light sits on the base is built terribly. It relies on pressure from a screw to stay on the top post. The metal on the top post bends super duper easy, So when I want to angle the ring light to capture product videos, it is very prone to bending and falling off.

DO NOT BUY!!! I make videos on youtube and Facebook, and I need extra lighting on my studio. I was going to purchase a ring light from amazon (NEWER BRAND) but the price is too high for me right now. This one was suggested while I was doing my weekly grocery pickup order so I decided to give it a try. The light is not bright, it does have several lighting options but NONE of them are bright enough. There is a "BEP" sound that is super annoying. And the sound it's there ALL the time the light is turned on. It also gets hot, I was sweating a lot just for trying this light.. Yes, it is SUPER CHEAP but it is not worth it. I will return this to the store and save some money to get one of those fancy ones.

ANNOYING BEEP SOUND 🙄

Do not buy.  Love the look and features, but the 2 of the 3 phone cradles broke (springs flew out across the room when securing phone in it).  Called manufacturer since it has a one year warranty which is a joke.  They want you to mail them the whole thing back on your dime and then they will send you a new one in 2-3 weeks … ummm no.  I have only had this two days!!!!  Thank goodness WalMart has my back.  I will return it tomorrow and get a different brand as the manufacturer wants you to jump through hoops.  Sad as it's a nice product just cheaply made parts.

Phone cradle springs broke in the first 5 minutes

It arrived damaged and I am providing a pic. Our daughter was so disappointed.  Light works but the crack is huge on it. Very disappointed.
