Not sure exactly what you mean, but I've been downloading songs from frostwire.com which is a free website. I've downloaded them onto my computer first & then transfer them onto the mp3.

That totally depends on various factors. Some sites allow many songs for free, some sites charge for every song. You need to find the right website for what you want.

I think this would depend upon the source of the music. I have not downloaded music, but I have copied and pasted free podcasts from itunes, and it works fine. Hope this helps.

You can put any existing mp3 you have onto this device. You don't have to buy all new music.

I don&#39;t understand why anyone pays for songs when you can just download them for free. You can convert a Youtube music video into an mp3 file using an online Youtube-to-MP3 file converter.  You get unlimited music at no cost. Just copy the Youtube page address into the link box of a Mp3 converter website like flvto.com, download it to your computer, hook up the Mp3 player to the computer and transfer your file to the Mp3 player. Voila!

I use telecharger-videos-youtube.com/en  it's a free youtube like downloader and if youtube is blocked (like for me) all you need is the link which you can get whether its blocked or not. :D hope this helped, and don't break any laws.

When you download music do all the songs cost?

No. It plays MP3 audio files (music or ebooks), can show pictures and videos (after converting to their format) or text-only e-books, and has a voice recorder.

The mp3 player does not come with games but it is really easy to use. Just down load a children's cartoon. Kids (or you) can be entertained for hours!

Bought this MP3 player for my friend and he has been using it now for a little over two weeks. He likes how it plays, and also told me that the battery holds a charge quite well. I am very tempted into buying one for myself next month. One thing though that he told me. Make sure that you buy a good set of headphones too if you don't have a pair.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE MONEY SPENT

This is a great product. It is light, small and easy to use. The battery last extremely long. Although it plays videos, the quality is not great as limited by its small and low res display. But, if you only listen to music, this is a great bargain.

Great product for anyone!

This little MP3 player is very robustly built, has numerous options, and is extremely easy to use. I was able to load all my songs very quickly and I even converted a MP4 movie to MP3 using the enclosed software & watched it on this Ematic.

The sound quality is excellent so long as you use decent headphones or ear buds. Imho, you can throw away the ear buds that come with it as they are very poor, but for under $20 I don't feel this is really an issue - I wasn't expecting great headphones so I wasn't disappointed.

FM radio is very good where I live (in a very large valley with no hills)

It could be a little louder but then everything I buy could be a little louder so that's probably me.

It's over half the price of an iPod Shuffle with over 4 times the capabilitiues.

Excellent piece of kit for an astonishing price

I was really unsure about buying this MP3 player as I was not familar with the Ematic Brand Name, and it just seemed too good for the money it cost. Other MP3 players had the same features, (except FM radio), but were double the price. But I was very pleased when I finally received it. This MP3 Player is very small but not tiny and extremely lightweight. It holds up to 1000 songs so you have a great rotation on your music, and downloading your MP3 formatted music from your computer to this player is quick and simple. It also has a graphic equilizing feature that makes the sound of the music do justice to your favorite songs. The battery lasts long and easily charges from the USB port on your CPU. This MP3 player also has extras like FM Radio that tunes in very clear, mic/voice record, video playback that supports various formatting including MP4, & (etc...). One badside I feel is that it lacks a playlist feature where you can put the songs you have downloaded on your player into different playlists. That is something I would've liked particularly because of the amount of songs this MP3 player can hold. But with that said, I started out really not knowing the ins and outs of MP3 players, and was completely lost on what to buy. All I knew was that I just wanted something cheap, small, simple, and easy to use, so I can just listen to my favorite songs when I'm out doing whatever. So with that, I am very pleased with what I bought, and definitely recommend this MP3 player. I do hope this review was helpful to you.

This Is Bang 4 Your $

I got this mp3 player for my mother (we all walk... ALOT), her and I originally had Creative ZenStone 2gig mp3 players (the cute pink one with the built in speaker), but alas several years of use and abuse and a toddler later her's broke finally. So we bought this for her birthday....

The buttons take some getting used to, as the M (or center "menu" button) doubles as main menu, and select, the fast foward buttons double up as selection buttons to flip through songs...and the button lables are on the back of the mp3 player rather than the front.... so there are a few TINY annoyances to the mp3 player, but overall its an execelent player for the money spent on it.

I'll warn you though, compared to my Phillips 4gig mp3 player with 1.5in screen, this mp3 player feels extremely light (almost like its poorly built its so light weight), but thus far, it holds up nicely. (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!) I would recomend new earbuds or better headphones tbh, the ones that come with it dont have that great of sound quality. But the volume and sound quality of the mp3 player itself it beautiful!

Execelent Mp3 player for cheap!

Last Christmas a recieved the pink ematic mp3 player. The actual pink color is a lot darker then the picture but its still very cute. It's small enough to fit in my pocket but it's not 2 small that I can't read anything on it. The sound quality is really good, the ear buds kinda hurt my ears but you could always buy different ones. Something that was really important to me was being able to search through songs while the music was still playing. Although many reviews i read before buying it said that you couldn't, I discovered that you CAN. Just hit (don't hold) the power button once while you are listening to a song, go to file, and you will see all of the folders with your songs in it. From there, you can browse through the songs until you find another song that you want. Something that I found confusing was transfering video from my kodak digital camera (it uses quicktime video) to the mp3 player. After messing with it for a few days i finally figured it out. The instructions aren't very helpful. They are located on a cd that comes with the mp3 player. I was kinda left to figure stuff out on my own but if you are just using this mp3 player for music, its very simple. You can use Windows media player or "drag and drop" files. I download songs from walmart. They are a few cents cheaper then itunes and they have a free song available every week to download. Here is their website:

Good Mp3 Player

I didn't like this product. You get what you pay for. There is no way to organize the songs by artist. I will splurge for something a little more expensive with more options.

Will be returning

I bought 4 of these, one for each one of my grand kids (ages 6, 8, 13, and 14). The ear phones fell apart within two days and the players are so small (really small). The button are small and close together so you are hitting the wrong button all the time. I had bought the same brand about 3 years ago and they are still working but the new ones are just not the same. As the old saying goes you get what you paid for. They were not worth the price. I would have returned them but WalMart has a 7 day return on electronics.

Was very disapointed

I have to say this is the worst MP3 player I have ever bought. I though for the price it would be ok, but I was wrong. I bought this for my 6 year old niece for Christmas. I went a head to set it up for her, and I couldn't get the soft wear to download on my computer. So I went a head to added the music to it, we'll when I added it it would only show the album art. Your support to be able to listen to the music while strolling threw the other songs well that didn't happen cause I couldn't figure the darn thing out. I took it back to walmart and exchanged it for a different brand. I bought a Philips go gear and its been the best so far.

I know you get what you pay for, but I felt kind of blindsided when an mp3 player that has a screen won't let you organize your music in folders and my mind was completely blown when I discovered there was no shuffle function. That's right...you just listen to the same songs in the same order again and again and again and again...
