No, this does not have gearing or a belt connected to either rear or front wheels that pushes or pulls the mower along.

yes, it is preassembled in the box. Just fold out the hanldebar, add oil & gas and start mowing. Oil is provided in the packaging.

See local store, the option was available to me but I chose to do it myself. All you do you is roll it out of the box and tighten the handle, and add the oil and gas.

The mower comes asssembled in a large box, all you need to do is take it out of the box, straighten out the handle, turn the 2 handles on either side of the handle and your ready to go.
Don't forget to add the oil first, then the gas, then hit the Prime button a few times.

It it mostly assembled. You just have to lock the handle in place and add oil and gas.

This mower is already fully assembled. All you need to do is remove the carton and fold the handle back into position and tighten up fasteners by hand, add gas and oil and your done.

I bought the lawn mower at Walmart at about 3:45Pm . This replaces another Murray that craped out after years and years of use.I expected to spend 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hour putting it together. Was I shocked when I took it out of the box. All I had to do was put the handle up and tightened knops put oil and gas in and I was set to go. I quickley reviewed the set up in case I missed something. I got 90% of my lawn cut before I had to quit. The big wheel in the back makes a big difference

I figured I'd park my riding mower this season and buy me a push mower for exercise. I decided on this Murray. I've cut my yard only once (3/4 of an acre) since I've bought it and it performed flawlessly. It was very easy to assemble, start, and push. The larger rear wheels really make a difference. It seems to be reliable, gets me off my hind end, and uses less gas than a riding mower. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I hope it will last many years to come.

Murray 22" High Wheel Mower

I recently moved back to the US after being gone for 10 years and rented a house. I did not want to spend too much on a lawn mower for a rented house so I bought this Murry. At 52 I had not mowed the lawn since I was a kid and was prepared for a heart attach! The lawn was mostly old crab grass that was extremely tough with intermittent Bermuda. Wow was I surprised. The Murray powered through the worst of the TALL crab grass with out a hick up. I walk very fast and the Murray cut as fast as I could go with out a hint of a stall! It pushed easy and in fact seemed easier than the self propelled mowers I used as a kid. This was probably due to the Murray's very light weight and all of the motor was going to the engine instead of the wheels. The description said the big back wheels helped with uneven lawns and I would say that is absolutely true. I really do not know why anyone would buy an expensive mower when the inexpensive Murray did everything with ease!

FANTASTIC LAWN MOWER AT GREAT PRICE!!!!!

Just purchased this mower on the 17th, paid online and was able to pick it up at our local Walmart with out any problem's.
I have no idea why anyone would say anything bad about this mower, I took it out of the box, added the oil ( which comes with it) added gas, primed it, and on the first pull of the starter cord it started right up!
The Female that says gas shot's up thru little vent hole on the gas cap must have over filled the gas tank, you can't do that, and it has strong Briggs & Stratton engine, and very easy to use. Highly recommened to anyone.

Wow I was skeptical about this lawnmower because of the price and actual the product. But this is a great buy! This is a great mower! It is very fast and efficient! It took 15 minutes to actually mow the 1/2 acre. I am sold on this mower. Everbody should invest in this product.

Great Lawnmower

Hadn't cut the lawn during winter so needless to say it was about 6 inches tall,this mower blazed through it without any problems,3500 sqf and very little gas consumption, side discharge tends to get stuck sometimes,overall cant complaint only $180 with two year service plan................

Overall, this is not a bad mower for the money. The larger rear wheels do make it a little easier to manuver and it's extremely easy to "assemble" as you just fold up the handles, tighten, and add the oil. This mower comes with a mulching door INSTALLED initially from the factory. If you want a plain old mower that throws the grass out instead of bunching up under the mower making a hellacious mess to clean up, REMOVE the mulching door!! I thought the darn thing was picking up every little stone it rolled across because I had it set down too low, but NO....that mulcher causes any rock picked up to churn about under the mower repeatedly and is unable to get thrown clear. Take the mulcher OFF....and it's not easy to do....takes three hands at least. The mower cranks easy enough with three pushes of the primer bulb......have to reprime one time even with a hot engine too. Only used it a couple of times on a small yard, but seems to work fine. No regrets on the purchase and this was honestly my first brand new mower.....always bought used or got hand-me-downs before. Hope this is of some value to someone.

Not a bad little mower, but loose that mulcher!!!

This mower is a good inexpensive push mower will do OK on 1/2 acre or less. Keep it maintained and clean and it will give you years of trouble free service.

The Mulch feature and the 12 inch rear wheels are a must for better maneuverability on my uneven lawns.

The Briggs & Stratton 500 Series Engine has been around for al long time and is easy to maintaine

And for peace of mind, for a few extra bucks, it's worth buying the Walmart Care Plan to extend your coverage. The Plan covers 100% of the cost for repair or replacement, including shipping charges for the exchange.

Meets Expectations

Bought this today,straight out of the box it run's horrible.
The engine lags and seems to want to stall.
The gas cap has a "vent" hole in it so that when you attempt to prime it or start it a spray like a fountain shoots from it!
Does not start easy as claimed....Maybe I got a bad one but,this I know first thing in the morning it's going back to Walmart!

so bought this thing pulled it out of the box added the oil an i pulled it back once started once. ran good made sure the oil level was at proper fill level. get to mowing an half way through the day the ohv cover in front starts leaking oil like someone turned on a water faucet. good mower ran ok just to many cheap parts on this thing. looking at all the other reviews after i bought this thing now including mine you think walmart would pull it from the shelf an discontinue selling..
