Like a lot of the reviews I was skeptical of the make. Had never heard of it. But it had many positive reviews so I purchased it and I am very happy with it so far. The TV arrived a couple of days before I left for vacation so I have only been enjoying it for a couple of weeks. Hope it lasts as long as my old analog TV. Picture is great as is the sound. Don't know much about all the different settings you can change or adjust but I think it is a wonderful purchase.

After researching many options, choose the Sanyo 55\".\nFor the price, you can't beat it.\nI did not want WIFI or smart TV. I would noy use. Way pay for a feature and not use it.\nSpeakers\/sound is OK, but I have it hooked up to a surround sound system so this did not matter to me.\nI have not set up thru HDMI cable, just the multi plug. The picture is great this way.\nHighly recommend this TV.
The Sceptre meets my expectations at purchase. The picture is excellent, and the sound system is adequate, about what one can expect from these flat screens. I only wish they had a cheap sound bar to go with it. and Walmart delivered it a week earlier than the estimated time.

power surges knocks out sanyo tv.
this is the 2nd second time the power knocked out a sanyo tv for me. even though the tv was plugged into a surge protector......this brand is way toooo sensitive to this
I love the tv & they shipped it fast.. Although i wish they can ship it to store instead of paying for shipping! They didn't have that \"free shipping or store pick up options\". Otherwise its a good purchase
We purchased this the other day and setup was a snap (the tv is not heavy at all but the box is big). The price was great and the site to store turn around time was speedy. Once setup the tv looks sleek and the picture is unbelievable (almost too clear). The sound mimics a surround sound and the tv adjusts to perform according to your room layout and brightness. The only bad thing I could find was that the remote is lightweight and seems cheaply made but this is trivial and I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Bought this TV to mount on the wall in my bedroom. TV was extremely easy to set up, and I do recommend doing your own picture settings since the initial setting is okay, but TV is capable of better if you put in a couple minutes using the menul and video set up under the menu. It has an excellent picture once I adjusted it, and I found the sound quality to be satisfactory for use in my master bedroom. For the price ($378 at the time) it was a real steal since other places had similar TVs for way over $400.
We had the old bubble back tv still and it was starting to turn pink so we knew it was time for a new tv and we were so excited to get a flatscreen finally, we went to our local walmart and they had this tv marked down to 490.00 wow what a deal. And we decided to buy the extended 3 yr warranty for the extra 44.00 (just in case) even covers normal wear and tear. We are very happy with our new Vizio TV. And we have had a bubble back for so long, that this is like being at the theatre. Thank you Walmart.
This 39\" LCD replaced a 27\" aging CRT.\nEven for an inexpensive TV, the difference\nbetween the CRT and this Emerson LCD\nwas striking!\nSo far, it's been a very good choice as a\nsecondary television set.
if your looking for a reliable TV,great picture with good sound,this is the best comparable around.This is our second set .the first is in the bedroom,and this one in our family room.If you want decent sound ,play around with the settings,that what there for.to many people expect to just turn on the set and give no thought to setting the controls.Believe me I am not high tech,but I found the panel to be user friendly.The picture is so crisp,and we don't have Hd.I watched a blade of grass waving on the ground and started laughing ,it was just like the commercial.all in all this is a great tv.For the price the quality is excellent and Walmart makes that happen.Good Job Walmart.
I bought my first Sanyo, a 47\" LCD 1080i, in 2007 and at first we thought it was going bad but found out it was actually the cable itslef pixelating. This was our living room TV up until recently because we upgraded to the new Sanyo 55\" LCD 1080i HD model. Both my kids have the 32\" 720p in their rooms, one being 2yrs old the other a week so they are a little different, one a little more upgraded but both are great. The one thing I can't stand is the remotes look like they light up or glow but the don't! My 55\" is actually has all black and grey buttons while two others have the big bulky square remote and the newest 32\" has a nice little one. Other then that I have had no issues with any of these units and refuse to pay more for a bigger name brand just because it may have a few extra features. These sets always go on sale at Walmart and that's when I get them. If your looking for something nice, simple and reliable this brands for you.

This was my 1st HDMI Flatscreen TV ever purchased but not my 1st Samsung. The name truly speaks for itself!....I'd bought a 25\" Samsung TV years ago & it worked great for the 10 + years I had it, until the very day I gave it away! After doing much research I went w\/the Samsung 40\" Smart TV & I'm Sooo happy I did. I absolutely Love the Netflix & Youtube Apps on it, but most of all I Love being able to use my iPad as a remote (highly recommend downloading the Samsung Smartview Remote App).
