bike breaks do not function as it was not assembled properly.

I bought this for my son's 6th birthday after he outgrew his smaller bike. this bike is all around awesome. durable frame, and durable training wheels is perfect for my son. he loves riding this bike. no defaults what so ever breaks even works great. my son loves riding and rides it almost every day

First the bike meets and exceeds what my son wanted. I loved the price and the bike is built to withstand what a preteen can put it through. We live a couple blocks from the local skate park, my son owns both a scooter and the bike. He loves it and pampers it like it was a car. We purchased it in the box. Assembly was easy! My son and I did it together. He is proud and I was shocked that I was able to acquire it at such a reasonable price, DK has been around for as long as I can remember,my older boys used to ride bmx professionally, my eldest is 24. A company I know and trust who makes a product I can rely on.

it is a great bike for my little brother. he likes it a lot. it has god cranks and a good frame. he's happy and so are my parents.

I bought this bike on line and it really looks cool,first thing I did was to get rid of the seat and get a longer seat post also switched the original handle bars for an old BMX handle bars from one of my nephew's bike..lol\nBike feels sturdy and it isn't that heavy at all.The disc brake works pretty good.I got the bike mostly cause I wanted to have an oversized BMX just to cruise on the streets and to hit some trails,I'm not into tricks or jumping so I guess bike will last even longer.I'm just giving it 4 stars cause my rear wheel arrived with dents and front valve stem has an air leak but other than that its a very nice bike,kids in my neighborhood like my bike too.\nCheck the picture of the bike.

the front rim was out of true and you have to loosin the rim axles and crank just a tad at least in my case everything was over tightened great bike not a big deal as with any bike in the box or out of the box your going to have small adjustments\n\ngreat buy

We bought this bike and the Static this past xmas and we, and the boys, love them!

from Walmart.\n\nWe got a gift card from family and though we never shop at walmart, would rather get something we would buy anyway than let them have the money free and clear. We decided to put it towards a bike for our daughter, who's a bit of a tomboy. She liked this bike so we ordered it.\n\nParts of the bike came pre-assembled, which would have been helpful, if they had been assembled properly from wherever it was shipped (assuming the manufacturer). The back wheel was put on totally crooked, the brakes that did not work because they did not come close to lining up and were very loose. Plus the break pads pads installed upside down, The instructions were terrible and we also noticed parts were partially stripped, not by us, but by whomever put on the back tire (probably from using pliers rather than the proper wrench).\n\nOverall a disappointment, and since it was delivered, the only option was to take it 25 miles out of our way to return it. It was very easy to return at the store, though.

About the product :\nGot this in a package that wasnt very new.. i thought it might have worn out during the shipping process.. then i open the package and start assembling the bike using the manual that came with it..Surprise!! that is not the manual for the bike that was shipped and it didnt have any clear information about how to assemble it.. Finally after several ideas of my own, i assemble it and then i see the toy seat at the back of the bike doesnt stand straight after several combinations..then I somehow adjust it not to slide down and handed the bike to my Kid..she found it hard to pedal because of a small friction in the chain and the sprockets..So i decide to give it a try outdoor, same results..Now i start to believe the product has some minor faults and that can be fixed in the store..\nAbout the store:\nI take it to the store and ask them to take a look.. the guy at the counter takes it in to the bike specialist and comes back saying it is alright and there is nothing wrong with it. Now I ask him to pedal with his hands and insist him to go check again.. he goes in, comes back in a few minutes and says everything is ok.. Now, I am not a bike mechanic, but i know there is a problem, so, i took another bike (a different model\/make but of the same size) and went to the counter.. asked the guy to compare both..he himself now says that there is definitely an issue..goes in to check with the bike mechanic, then comes back and says there is no problem, but now there is an additional clicking noise from the bike when you pedal. I insist to take a further look, he says that i should return the bike if i dont like it.. I tell him, i like the bike, fix it, he says there is a big problem and it cant be fixed (finally they agree that it is defective)..I was then asked to contact customer service desk to return the bike..\nIt becomes more interesting now..\nI go to the customer service desk, the guy there asked me about the problem and I described him everything from start..he then listens to it and asks me to return the bike.. I said i need a replacement and I just dont want my money back.. then he asks me to go around the store (they have bikes lined up in the parking areas) and also the aisle where the display bikes to see if there is another bike like this (REALLY??). I asked him to check his stock inventory on the computer, but he said he cant and I have to go and check for him.. Then i said i want to talk to a store manager..there was no one like that in the whole store..Finally a lady in one of the billing areas came out saying that she can help.. but then she took me to the same counter where i had been kicked out from.. now the bike mechanic himself comes out and says that the bike has issue and cant be fixed.. so i ask him why he said there were no issues earlier.. no answer.. after a pause, he asks me to return the bike..\nNow my kid is so tied to the bike that i cant get another make or so.. and I dont have an option to replace it.. I ended up with an issue which Walmart was not ready to solve and didnt even care...\nDO NOT BUY THIS BIKE.. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WALMART.. THEY DONT CARE.

This bike is durable and cool. My daughter loves it. The only thing we notice about the bike is that it is a more stretched out bike then we had thought and when my daughter got on it for the first time, my husband had to adjust the handlebars forward in order for her to reach them. Other then that the bike has served it's purpose and was affordable.

Whe I first got the bike it was really easy to setup. I recommend this to teens and kids who love biking on dirt and cement. Bike still good so far.

Our grand daughter loves this bike. It is just the right size for a beginner.

Yup I'm 25yrs old, looking for a freestyle bike and I found one. Thruster dj Mens. I'm 5\"10 and Weigh 288pounds. My cuzin got the thruster \"20 bike and it was to small for him. He weighs 250 pounds and it looks like its flat. I bout 24\" thruster for me and its perfect. I've had it for 4hrs and I can't belive this can handle all those jumps and giving people a ride around on my back tire peggs. This bike looks nice and it does exacly what a freestyle bike does. Very heavy duty bike. Worth every penny and im glad i got it on sale for $99 but not for long, but i would have payed the regular price anyways becuase of the quality. it only took me no more then 15min to put together. Wow nice freestyle bike for my size and at Walmart wow.

THIS RACING BMX BIKE IS OF GREAT QUALITY .THE DESIGN AND COLORS ARE A REAL HEAD TURNER. MY NINE YEAR OLD LOVES IT WAY LIGHTER THAN HIS HARO F2 BIKE.OVER ALL A GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE BIKE SHOP QUALITY. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH WALMART.COM .CAN'T WAIT TO PURCHASE THE MATCHING 24 INCH FOR MYSELF.

This bike is very good value for the price. The frame is quite strong. My child will outgrow this bike before it ever could be broken.\n\nI originally bought it for the \"cool factor\" since my child likes watching the Dukes of Hazzard re-runs on TV.\n\nWe replaced the seat with something bigger because the seat was uncomfortable.

This bike was easy to assemble. Assembly took only a few minutes. The bike is a nice single speed ride, and perfect for around town, back and forth to school, etc. My son also rides on a trick\/jump track. My only complaint was that the break cable was frayed when the bike arrived. We have replaced this and had no other issues since.
