I ordered this Braun 7-790cc for my husband; he picked it out. He likes it so far; gets a good shave without tearing up his face like his old razor. The cleaning system needs to be replaced approximately once every 30 uses, but I found them at a good price online; just shop around.
Ladies this thing is awesome for you if you can handle a little pain. But guys if you have thick hair all over watch out. On everywhere except my chest it worked fine. But on my chest it broke all of the hairs instead of pulling them out. I tried it three different ways that are suggested in reviews but the only thing that changed was the pain level. I now have smoother belly, shoulders and back but my chest is in bad shape (wish I could upload pics). So just as a fair heads up to the guys interested in buying this you may want to stick with waxing. To the ladies interested this is a great purchase. My fianc\u00E9 has now taken possession of mine and loves it. She is either way tougher than I am or just having very fine hairs ripped out instead of thick ones makes all the difference in pain. Waiting two weeks to grow 1\/4 inch of hair and after having my chest waxed will try it again with new growth.
Two weeks and still on my first charge. Not as close as a blade, of course, but very satisfactory for an electric. No irritation. I doubt that electrics with more cutting heads acquired at more expense would do a better job.
I recently got a corporate job where I had to start shaving everyday. Razors irritate my skin so I decided to take a chance and buy the Braun 5 series. It was a little pricey but it doesn't irritate my skin at all! It doesn't get as close as a razor but it does a good job. The fact that it doesn't leave me with nicks or ugly razor bump is enough for me.
I had a Braun 5612 electric razor for over 10-years. The battery didn't really hold a charge for too long anymore so I was looking for another razor. I wanted to stick with Braun because my last one lasted over 10-years! I saw this one on clearance and decided to buy it. I was hesitant, thinking I would be just buying the same razor... I was wrong! This razor shaves so much better than my 5612. I was truly amazed the first time I used it. And it charges everyday, so I don't have to worry about the battery running low. I would recommend this to anyone.
I have used about 6 Remingtons for over 30 years and switched to Braun top of the line 3 years ago. It is the best shaver I have ever used. You get a smooth clean fast shave.\nThe only bad thing is the constant money Braun exttracts from you because of the liguid cleaner and changing of foil every so often. Braun direct is expensive. After searching Amazon and the web and not buying because of price I accidentally found it on the Walmart site. This was my first purchase at Walmart and I am very pleased.
I have thick dark hair..I shave in the morning in about an hour I have a few o'clock shadow..so embarrassing..this product works...it's painful but if you go in short passes it seems help make the pain more bareable
The pros to this razor are I was able to shave my bikini area without getting cut, and the method was rather painless. I would recommend using shaving cream and being very careful while using this product. I was able to get a fairly basic uniform cut. It comes with a small carrying bag which I found handy and stickers to decorate the intimate area, but I did not use that part. I wanted a basic shave with not a lot of injury to myself and generally it was able to meet my expectations, but not really exceed them.
The cons to this razor are first of all it is very loud. Second, if you're using a cheap battery (especially the one that comes included with it), the power will not last for a long time. Because it is battery operated, I agree with previous user that submerging it in lots of water is not a good idea. Third, at times it felt tingly and awkward. Fourth, I found myself cleaning the blades often, as there are no replacement ones to use. Fifth, the cut was far from perfect, and I did have slight rashes afterward, but I believe that's not due to the fault of the razor but my sensitive skin in general.
I would recommend this product to a friend, but only for a basic once a month shave, and use the big razor for the bikini area and the little razor for the face. Keep the blades clean after each use--there are no replacements you can get. And after each use, I would recommend a good lotion to apply to the body for a week afterward, so that rashes appear less (for bikini only). I would use this product for no more than 1 year, and then get it all replaced. Price-wise it is a little on the expensive side, but for maintaining such an intimate area, it is worth the cost. One more word of advice: do not share with others.
I really like this shaver. It has been almost two moths since I bought the Braun Cruzer6 Face Shaver. Starting from its shape, it is really amazing and practical. The shaver itself is perfect, it removes all the hair in a minimum effort and time and gives you 100% clean skin. The trimmer part on the other hand is also very good, although it has been a little bit more time consuming, as it always was, to trim the face hair evenly as you have to go through different directions on your face to get the final result you want. The adjustable trimming comb is also very appropriate to have the length of hair you prefer.\nOverall, it has a nice shape, high quality and high performance. On the top of that, it is easy to be cleaned and charged. I highly recommend it. Thank you Braun !!!

Shipping Epic Failure
I have no idea how bad or good this product is as I never got it delivered. I ordered it site to store, which I've done a few times in the past with absolutely no problems. That was not the cause with this item. It was shipped with UPS and it kept failing to deliver to my local walmart due to the \"business being closed\". I checked in with my walmart store to see if that was the case (it wasn't). So I got on the phone with UPS to see what was going on. They said they didn't know why it wouldn't have delivered because it was during business hours, they promised me they'd get it delivered the next day. But it failed.. yet again. At this point, I'm getting pretty upset. So I went through the UPS contacting again, which is frustrating by itself because it's all recordings and no people. PS say you want to order shipping supplies to actually get a hold of a human. So someone higher up takes control of it and is on the phone back and forth between me and my local walmart to work stuff out... to no avail. The store says I'm not in the database and they'd have to sign for the package but they never got the shipment. UPS swears they tried to deliver. At this point I tried to change it to deliver to my house, but Walmart can't change delivery addresses once shipped.\n\nI talked to the manager at my local walmart who directed me to the 1-800-WALMART line. I got a hold of a very nice, very helpful lady who promised me she'd take care of everything. After 20mins, she got the original order returned and a new one sent out, this time with FedEx. At this point I'm no longer ready to explode.. I actually feel good about everything. I even wrote into Walmart.com about what a great experience I've had after getting a reassurance that everything would be taken care of.\n\nA couple of days later when I go to track my order... what do I see but another failed to deliver message because the business is closed. I think I lost it a bit. So back to the 1-800-WALMART phone call. I had them refund me. I had also bought a warranty with walmart for the item and they started not to refund that because I had technically received that item since it was emailed to me. In the end, they are refunding the warranty as well.\n\nI have no idea where the fault lies. My husband talked to a a manager at a different store who said they had recently changed their backdoor delivery hours but still took deliveries through the front door. So perhaps all the shippers where using the backdoor at the wrong time?? I have no idea, nor do I really care at this point. I went with a different company to order my product. I'm getting it shipped to my house for free, in a fast period of time and at a cheaper price.
