We bought this mattress for a 55lb 7 year old to use in the top bunk. It comes in a vaccum compressed bag which I thought was strange when I opened it up. But once we cut into the plastic, the mattress popped up and filled out! It was really cool!!! My son says it is comfortable and is sleeping VERY well on it with no complaints. We did purchase a vinyl zipper cover to put the mattress into since we still have some accidents at night (for my peace of mind). Overall, GREAT value for the price!!!

Great if you like laying on a flat, hard surface but otherwise go with something else. I'm going to try a memory foam topper and see if that will make it better. It is for my two year old daughter but I feel bad making her sleep on something so firm.
