I ordered two of these gates for wide hallways - love them !! Highly recommend as a puppy barrier.

We keep our son's Lab puppy...currently 1 year old, 65 lbs and full of \"puppy\"\nWe have tried other gates and combination of gates but having to climb over them and fuss with them every time we wanted to go in and out it was a royal pain. We purchased 2 of these...20 minutes to install each gate. They are very solid and work like a dream.

Sick of plastic baby gates you'll be really satisfied with this gate great for dogs and kids. Do yourself a favor purchase it through Walmart you'll get it cheaper because PetEdge charges an arm and a leg to ship it to you.

Very good quality. Lower than expected but our small dogs can't get over it and it is easy for us to step over.

Gate is very well built and easy to put together.\nI wished I had paid more attention as to its height, would have liked for it be be about a foot taller. But overall I am very happy with the gate and it looks very nice.

I ordered two of these gates to go in front if our two sets of stairs. I actually ordered this to keep my baby from the stairs. Our stairs are very difficult to fit with mounted baby gates. This was the perfect solution. It was also super easy to assemble.

I needed a wide gate for the opening to my kitchen. This gate certainly fit the bill. I really like this gate!!! It's well made and looks lovely. I really like the fact that it's free standing. I would highly recommend this gate.

This is a good looking gate and it fits well with my contemporary decor. Assembly was easy enough. No need to pay someone to do it, even if you're a girly girl, like moi. Thus far, the gate's singular nit is that my very determined and rambunctious 4lb. pom can move it. Yikes! True, he has to work at moving it, meaning he has to hurl his entire body weight against it repeatedly to create momentum or something. But what else does he have to do all day? He's also trying to leap over it and I'm amazed at how high my little fur-ball can jump. Little Brutus must think he's Michael Jordan.

This is an overall nice looking doggie gate, easy to put up, and it matched my paneling nicely as I live in a house built in 1970 lol. The advertizement said for small dogs, I have a toy poodle puppy who is 6 months old, 4 pounds, she easily fits between the last slat and the wall, this was a problem with the first dog gate we purchased, the slat to slat width was adequate to contain her, but the last slat and the door jam space is too large, so kinda negates the rest of the gate, so we were able to modify the extension and use it instead of the standard door width gate piece. The only problem now is the rubber ends that meet the door jam are gray and don't match, so, looks like we will be finding some paint or a wide sharpie to color those in.

I installed this gate at the end of our hallway which gets a lot of foot traffic. We have 3 dogs (of all sizes) and 2 small children. I specifically purchased this gate because there is no threshold that has to be stepped over each time you pass through the gate. I managed to instal it properly and it latches all by itself when it swings shut. This gate is very sturdy. The only issue we have is when we want the gate open, we end up putting one of our kids toys in front of it. It would be great if there were hardware to attach to the wall to keep it open. That is just a small issue. Overall, this gate exceeded my expectations on appearance and performance. I would absolutely buy again.
