I got this for my son who already had an interest in drawing and he has already started to move more into more depth drawing since receiving this item. So i do believe that it helps to give more insight into drawing more abstract drawings.

It has everything that needed in beginner's kit.Its a great gift as well.

I bought this for my 10 year old son who has been asking for one for about two years. He wanted to paint it. Even though he handled it gently, he had it for less than a day before one hand fell off. We found the little screw that fell out, but because of the way the hinges work, can't see any way to get it back together. I read reviews of similar products on other websites, and it seems to be a common problem with this type manikin even when handled by adults.
