Great product for the price! It came with a hard case, combs, scissors, a plastic cape, oil, cleaning brush and several attachments. The actual trimmer is heavy and not cheap looking.
Bought the product online ($24.95) because my local store had the same thing for $39.95. Had to choose the ship to store option which took a week. It would have made more sense if Walmart would have just pulled from their store stock. I understand because of the possibility of computers not linked etc. it did not happen. But for efficiency (and eventual company profit) they should make the investment. Then, to wait a week to ship and pickup, one would assume Walmart has more than a once a week distribution center delivery to their store.
The WAHL beard and mustache trimmer can be used with or without a cord. With a cord, it will continue to charge the battery even when in use..

I use hair clippers without any guards. Just metal to skin. The closer the better. So, if you cut the hair on your head, yourself. There well be blood. The points on the top cutting blade, are like needles. I know what it feels like to get a tattoo on my head. But, once I took the top blade in to the local blade sharpener. I told him the problem, and for a couple bucks. He rounded the points. Now, its perfect. The best and closest clippers I have ever owened. After thought, why have adjustable blades and different sized, snap on guards? Fixed blade clippers with guards would be proferred. Even with some problems, I would buy again.

Great clipper set for the $, nice variety of snap on guides, and storage case. I only wish the case had slots to store everything in, instead of being just a open case allowing everything to be scattered inside.
Not for a husky\/malamute mix! Not for skiddish dogs. Not a very powerful clipper. This clipper I bought to cut dog hair without spending too much dog, since it's not my dog [it's my brothers]. However, disappointed, even though it was his first hair cut I would expect him too be nerves; but he was scared by the noise of this product every time I turned it on 10-15 times I had to talk to him and tell him it was ok and get going again. So noise it higher then would have liked. Also about about 30 minuets, it started getting hot, too hot to touch & I have a pretty good pain tolerance; and it hurt me. However it never went dead! Took ~2.5 hours to shave the dog. The blades don't work well when you're dealign with a lot at hair tried them first and gave up into shaving the poor pup. However, doing this you MUST be careful, the clipper will cut the dogs skin!

I have a big cat 18 pounds and his hair is thin and fime and is everywhere, on the clothes, furniture, floor it makes hard to keep clean the house, so I decided to trim his hair. First, I bougth the cheaper trimmer por 17 $us, but did not have the combs to trim the length of the hair I wanted. It was a bad experience I left some bold spots on my cat's coat and I was even afraid to cut his skin. So went to walmart to change for this other with 4 guide combs for different lengths and i use the second and it was too much better my cat looks handsome with an even hair cut and good bye to the hair everywhere.
The quality of haircut with this kit depends on the person doing the cutting. It is not foolproof but it is not difficult either. If you are vain and fussy about your hair, this probably won't be a good product for you but if you just want a decent haircut and the idea of saving $15-30 per haircut, you will probably will like it.

This is a Excellent product to save money and cut your own hair or your children and Grandchildren's hair . Save money and with just 2 haircuts it pays for itself then anything after that you are saving your money. Works the same as the Pros and comes with everything and more than you need.
I have a maltipoo, with minimal curling in his hair. I love that it glided right through his hair without issues. I was disappointed in the DVD and the different types of dogs it did show for grooming. It would be great if they were more in depth detailed for new learners. It had minimal vibration, did not pull his fur. I liked how it was cord\/cordless. I hated that you had to let charge at least 24 hours prior to use, but that goes for anything needing charged. Started to get warm about an hour into the cutting, but with the guards on the dog couldn't feel the heat. Great guards for sanitary trims also. This says $49 online, I found mine in the store for $35!!

Not for thick hair
It was a waste of money. We have a golden retriever and it did not work on him. Because he has long thick fur based on the description of the product we felt it would work. It did not. It kept getting clogged with his fur and by the time we were half way done the blade was dull. It says it is self-sharpening, but it wasn't working for us. The picture on the DVD show poodles, I am guessing that for poodles it works well?

Disappointing Product
I have been using Wahl Pro cordless clippers to trim my dog's coat for the past 10 years. The clippers seem to last about 5 years before the battery loses its ability to hold a charge, and the attachment combs were grabbing my dog's coat, so I was looking for a replacement when I purchased this clippers with the Lithium battery. After charging the clippers and trying, yes, trying to turn the clippers on and off a few times, I have decided to return the clippers without even using them. They are bulky and awkward in my hand, unlike the previous version, but the on\/off button is difficult to use. My wrist even hurts from trying to get this clippers to turn on and off! It's a soft press in button. Also, the packaging states how quiet it is -- it is not quiet!!! I am so disappointed in Wahl. Maybe this is a great clippers, I'll never know because of the design features.
