Not too strong tasting, as some are. These are light, very crispy/crunchy, and have a pleasing taste that's lightly sweetened with a hint of cayenne hiding behind the main taste. The perfect animal cracker. I raised 2 boys with these as a staple snack, and 20 years later, they're still unbeatable for quality, taste, and a convenient snack that isn't sugary or expensive.

I think in taste, they have gone down in my opinion… however, I use them as treats for my Golden Retriever, Phil, and they are perfect for that. They are low in calories and just the right size and I like the giant bag. Plus… my granddaughters like them.

Great Snack for Everyonel!

Began eating Stauffer's when I decided they would be a great treat for my 6th graders to reward a good day. I've eaten them daily since (in fact, have a few in hand right now). Stauffer's animal crackers are my go-to snack. I almost paniced when I had difficultly locating them for a few weeks. I keep several bags in my pantry at all times just in case another shortage should ever occur. Incidentally, I'm an octogenarian!
