These microwaveable rice bowls ate great for a quick side dish or meal prep for one person. I use them to have rice and beans or a vege dinner. I purchased a microwaveable cheesy broccoli pack to use with this rice. I heated the broccoli in 60 seconds, then the rice. Poured rice in a bowl and added the broccoli on to the rice. Sprinkled shredded cheese on top and had a mean in just a couple of minutes. The rice tastes good and heats up in a minute. I'm a 70 year old who does not like to cook. I'm always searching for foods that are quick to fix and taste good. This rice is great for quick meal prep.

I am single and prefer cooking smaller meals so I don't have a lot of left overs or waste from my meals. You can use it for any meal you prepare. The individual rice container is perfect and extremely easy to prepare. ALWAYS take the paper covering off before cooking. It will explode in your microwave if you leave it on. I know this from experience.
