The knives are well crafted and very sharp. There is a built-in sharpener in my knife block,but I haven't had to utilize it as of yet. I'm really happy with this knife set. It comes with everything you need, table knives, bread knife, meat knives, and several other useful options for everyday cooking. The organization is excellent, and I really like the wooden block design. It looks stylish on the kitchen counter and even includes a built in sharpener, which is a great bonus. The knives feel strong, well made, and comfortable to use. I've been using them for more than a month now and everything is still perfect, they stay sharp and handle daily use very well.
