works great. my hummingbird feeder has a built-in ant moat but the ants seem to be able to by pass it and get to the feeder. this moat works great, holds alot of water and since i change my feeders daily i top off the moat while im doing that and haven't had any ants! and i fill the built in moat on my feeder so i have double the protection!

Wonderful item

I am so glad that I got these moats for my two hummingbird feeders. The ones that were a part of the original feeders didn't keep water in there for very long and I had to refill them frequently. I don't have to refill these moats much and I haven't seen any ants since I installed them as part of my feeders.
