I just received it in the mail, so I don't completely know if it's truly Sterling silver, however, it is stamped 925 on the lobster claw which is another thing I love about this necklace. It can't day after first ordering and came beautifully packaged in a cute gift box. If anything is to change, I will come back and edit my review. But, as of current, I love it!!! Clasp NOT secure

The necklace itself is great! My concern is with the clasp and hook. There actually isn't a hook. Just and open o ring link that can easily be pulled open, causing a security issue. The lobster claw clasp is also attached by an open o ring link that isn't secure. I fear that if the necklace is tugged in a minimal manner, it can fall off. I have consulted a jeweler to have this affixed and corrected, but now I will have to pay more than what I paid for the necklace.
