Perfect bow for beginner
Wow was I surprise. I wanted to get onto archery but looking at bows was a monumental task, so many different types and brands but research lead me to the Genesis and I can agree more with the recommendations for this bow. I never shot a bow in my life but with about 10 minutes of.practice I was hitting the target consistently at 16 yards. So if you want the perfect beginner bow do not walk but run for this bow.

I am a PE teacher in AR. This is the bow we are instructor certified on and the bow the students use. Same one. Everyone from 3rd grade to 30 years old and beyond can have success with this bow. If you want to hunt, you will upgrade to a hunting bow, but this bow will forever be a blast to shoot. Don't bother with the smaller youth bows. This is a REAL bow. It will insure the best chance of success for a beginner and that's what you want. It can be adjusted from 10 to 20 lbs draw weight with ease. A beginning archer can learn on it and then shoot it for the rest of their lives. All aluminum construction. The original Genesis bow is the real deal.
