It’s perfect!

I bought this couch along with the matching chairs, and it’s exactly as pictured! It’s comfortable, extremely well made, and very sturdy, I absolutely love it. My only complaint is that the Allen wrench included wouldn’t have been enough to assemble it on its own. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but we ended up using a socket wrench with an Allen attachment to get the job done. Just something to keep in mind!

Great couch, AWFUL Assembly

I love the sofa, so nice and quality materials. With that being said, the assembly and instructions are TERRIBLE! Do not expect to be able to put together with the included allen wrench- it would take you all day. Even using a drill with allen wrench bit - it took us hours to put together. The screws for attaching the arms were not the right size and we had to drill the holes bigger. The instructions were not clear and clearly wrong on some pages. We figured it all out and assembled, it’s great - just expect to be very frustrated and to spend a couple of hours getting it together.

So, so comfortable

I bought two couches and a coffee table and just put them together about a week ago. Let’s start with the pros - I bought this set because the price was extremely reasonable for this material, as opposed to the name brand, and it’s soooo pretty. Holy moly are these things comfortable! I find a lot of outdoor furniture sits up too straight, and this set does not, without leaning back too far either. I also feel like a lot of outdoor sets are too short in the seat depth, and this one is not. The cushions are very comfortable out of the box, but I can’t speak to how long they will last. I like that the arm of the couch is wide and is a nice place to set your phone or a drink. All of the parts and hardware were included, and all of the holes lined up. I feel like a lot of times people tighten their bolts or screws all the way while they are still assembling, which makes the holes not line up. The instructions remind you after every step to not tighten all the way yet. No issues with shipping. A regular Allen wrench was included, and a ratcheting Allen wrench, which was a lifesaver. There are a few cons to watch out for- Be careful with the ratcheting Allen wrench, if you turn too tightly, you will sort of strip the gears inside it, and it won’t work very well anymore. Some parts are mislabeled in the instructions. If I remember right, in the parts list, one of the cushions is labeled as part L, and in the instructions it refers to part L as one of the legs. Also on the coffee table, I believe the legs were labeled opposite. I actually found it easiest to start with the last step on the coffee table and work my way towards the first step. While the instructions do remind you at every step to not tighten all the way, I don’t believe it ever reminds you to go back and tighten them when it’s time. I think the best time to do this is probably after you slip the back rest pieces in, but before you attach them. I had to undo the screws to go back and tighten all my bolts. I am a handy gal, and the assembly of one couch definitely took more than the 40 minutes the instructions said, though I did not time it to see how long it did take. One person can do it, but beware you’re going to be lifting and moving a third of the couch a couple of times. A wish list item - Obviously, besides the instructions being more clear in the parts being labeled correctly… I wish there were ties or Velcro straps on the back of the cushions. We live in the country, so they blow off easily. I am the type to leave the cushions on all the time because otherwise I won’t go out and use it, so this would be really handy for me. Overall, I would recommend based on looks, comfort, and hopefully the durability.
