and he's a very pretty and I can run them underwater in the sink to wash them. All my guests that see them absolutely love them. I bought another set of them and took One of them and cut it down so I could put a little centerpiece in the middle of my table. it looks really nice. I have not put really hot items on there, but I have microwaved My dinner plates of food and it has not affected the placemats. I have had them for about a month, and I highly recommend them.
