I purchased two of these 3 years ago. I got rid of it because I thought I was moving into a place with a sufficient tub. my tub is too small. The price here is way better than what I paid 3 years ago. The best way to construct this tub is to use two kits. Put the kit together the way the instructions tell you to. then take and construct an additional oval ring similar to the top piece. then remove the rubber from the bottom of the uprights. Do this only if you're going to complete the installation of the bottom ring. take that constructed oval ring and place it underneath the tub. push the bottom of the upright pipes into the opening in the top of the tee fitting. You will essentially have a tub similar to the new design tubs that come with a top and a bottom ring. However a sufficient size for an average sizedcto large sized person... the new kits with the top and bottom ring are not even 48 in like they say. They are only 42 in and way too small... what I described is the best portable tub for the price. Nothing even comes close. If for some reason your tub springs a leak. By purchasing two kits you have an extra liner on hand while you attempt warranty replacement for the original tub liner. You could also glue or waterproof tape the lower ring pipes into the T fittings. However, do not do this to the top oval ring as you might have to disconnect that at a later date. Although. this kit is upgraded over the last kit I purchased. The connections are much more snug and a higher quality of fit. So gluing and taping are most likely not necessary under most if not all circumstances. If you want to lean into the back of the tub I would recommend placing the back up against a wall or a solid bathroom cabinet. Protect that area if you deem necessary. Foam sheeting or even a piece of plastic or even an outdoor trash bag. For draining I use a submersible pump and whatever length hose that I need. That is absolutely the best way to drain the tub. In fact I glued the drain fittings permanently closed. The best portable adult tub under $100... As I explained I would purchase two. Only because the double ring modification tub is an amazing experience....
