Great chair for 8 year old son

Got this chair for my son's 8th bday for a gaming chair. He's about 55lbs and avg height of an eight year old and the chair has held up great also he fits fine in the chair. Great for sitting but not big enough to like lay down or anything like that. Writing this review about a week of use. I'm 280lbs and have used the chair from time to time and holds my weight fine. I hadn't used it for prolonged time but just to sit for a couple minutes here and there. No problems I would recommend.

It's a great height for lower tables and desks, which is exactly what I needed. I like that it's not heavy, it's easy to move around due to it's weight. It's very comfortable, soft and warm if you're someone who gets cold in a chair like I do. And I'm really glad that there are different color options, I genuinely like the teal color. However, I still think the price is a bit much. But, at least I'm getting the quality of what I paid for.

No “play box” and order refill beans in advance

Someone in the reviews said it comes in a cardboard box with a castle door so the kids get basically 2 gifts in 1. This was not my experience. I had it delivered and it came wrapped in what I can only describe as a cut black garbage bag. No box at all. Also, my son is hyper and was enjoying crash jumping on it the first day, but after two days I find that I have to order refill beans (which would definitely eventually happen anyway). It's probably because he played with it like that - but if your kid is a rough-houser, maybe order the refill beans with the chair.
