NESCO® Vacuum Sealer + Multi-Size Bag and Roll Variety Pack

We recently picked this up for bulk meat buys and long-term freezing, and so far, it has been a workhorse. My wife has put it through its paces already, and the performance is undeniably better than the cheaper units we've used in the past. The Pros: The Double Seal is a Game-Changer: Having that extra line of defense is huge, especially for meat that might have a bit of moisture. We haven't had a single seal fail yet. Serious Suction: You can tell it has a dual pump. It pulls air out fast and tight, which is exactly what you want for sous vide or long-term freezer storage. Built Like a Tank: It has a much more "industrial" feel than most consumer sealers. It doesn't feel like it's going to overheat after three bags. The Cons (The "Picky" Part): The Bag Cutter Routing: This is the only real design tweak I'd suggest. Routing the bags through the cutter is a bit clunky and takes a second to get right every time. It's not a dealbreaker, but for a machine that is so well-designed otherwise, this part feels like it could be a little more intuitive or "smooth." Try it out on a stuffed animal for a fun time with the kids :)

this is our first vacuum sealer machine and we love it! very easy to use. replacement bags or rolls whatever you choose are not expensive. well worth buying because your food will last a lot longer in the freezer. you can label the packages before you put them in the freezer so you know what everything is and the date they were stored. we are now buying in bulk because the food won't get freezer burn!
