Before using your magnetic window cleaner, always prioritize safety by placing the safety cord ring on your finger - this must remain in place throughout the entire cleaning process. The powerful magnets in the Glider require careful handling, so keep the magnetic parts at least 8 inches (20cm) apart when not in use to prevent sudden magnetic attraction. Also, keep the device away from electronic equipment and pacemakers for safety. To begin cleaning, first secure the safety cord ring firmly on your finger. Then take the two parts of the Glider and position them on opposite sides of your window - the strong magnets will automatically connect through the glass. Next, generously spray your preferred window cleaning solution on both sides of the window surface, ensuring you cover all areas you plan to clean. When cleaning, use slow, controlled S-shaped movements starting from the top of the window. Move the Glider in a smooth S-pattern as you work your way down. You may need to add more cleaning solution periodically to keep the squeegee blades wet for optimal cleaning. Continue this pattern until you've covered the entire window surface. For the next step, attach the microfiber cleaning cloths using the built-in velcro fasteners. Make sure the cloths are securely fastened before continuing. Once attached, make a final cleaning pass by reconnecting the Glider parts on both sides of the window. During this final pass, use steady, even pressure to remove any remaining streaks or spots. When you're finished cleaning, proper storage is important. Always place the included plastic separator between the Glider parts and keep the magnetic sections separated when not in use. Store the device in a dry place, away from any electronic devices. Remember, this magnetic window cleaner is specifically designed for single-glazed windows between 0.1"-0.3" thick. For best results and to ensure compatibility, measure your windows before use.
