Like millions of others I bought these old fashion ear buds because I could fall asleep on a long plane flight and not worry about the regular in-ear models falling out and permanently disappearing into the darkened, mysterious, threatening and well-known airplane plane seat limbo. This had happened to me once before and the very stern Lufthansa flight attendant made it very clear to me that I was NOT to try and pull the seat cushion out, etc., etc. She made this VERY clear to me, if you know what I mean. These old-man-style around-the-neck ear buds do not cancel environmental sounds. Sound quality? I am not an expert but they seem to work fine. BTW, they are terrific when doing yard work. Lean over, pull a weed and these will never drop out. (I wish I could say the same about by lower back after a few hours in the back yard.) Usually stick my cell phone in my pocket to use WIFI, but I also discovered that the house WIFI can do the trick most of the time. Good. The Type C charge port on the unit is obviously cheap and looks easily breakable - but for the money? What do you expect? Just be careful when pulling the flimsy charge port cover off. There are only three buttons to worry about. Wonderful!!! The "O" in the middle is the "click on, click off" button. The other two? Plus and minus for volume control. The battery seems to charge fully in a few hours. Red and green lights the size of a pin head indicate state of charge. Put them on and a sexy woman's voice will whisper, "Fully Charged," or "Ready to connect." This is not some $300.00 Apple device. But for 99.9% of the rest of us, it fills the bill nicely.
