I have to admit that I wasn't expecting this to be anything other than another particle board piece of crap. I was more concerned about it being shipped here. I knew it was pretty heavy and would have to be in multiple boxes. (it turned out to be 2 very heavy boxes.) And sometimes that can cause issues. And it was going to cost an additional $100 for shipping. Well, normally that would have been it for me. I NEVER pay for extra shipping. But I had been looking for something that would match the "farmhouse" style bedroom set I already have, and this one was the closest, and my wife and I really liked it. So I went for it. I am so glad I did. It did arrive one day late, but since it was Easter, I gave FedEx a pass. To my surprise, it was in great condition. I unpacked it. I was immediately surprised that it was NOT particle board, but real wood. The color was even closer than I had hoped. In fact, almost an exact match to the color and hardware. I normally do not do reviews and never comment, but I am just so thrilled with this purchase AND the shipping experience that I wanted to shout out to ChVans for such a wonderful experience!
