I definitely love the smell and texture of the edge control. It provides a hold that doesn't feel weighed down and there aren't any flakes left behind on the next day. 4 ounces is a fairly hefty size container and I didn't have to use a lot to lay my edges so I know this will last me a good while. Being natural, I'm always looking for products that don't have harsh chemicals so this being paraben free and sulfate free, is a big bonus. The container/jar is designed fairly simple and elegant and the product itself, does exactly what I need it to do!!

Lays Edges Without Flakes

Heritage fixed on you edge control worked very very well for myself as well as my daughter. There's some edge control products that my daughter uses that break your skin out. Just not do that at all. Hard to find products stats work universally well for everyone in my household in this definitely was it!

This product worked well on my curly hair edges. The product lays the hair down easily without being sticky or clumpy. It holds all day. The product has a pleasant and not strong scent. The packaging keeps the product from drying out. Four ounces is a good amount. Really good product.

All-day hold without the residue

My experience using Hairitage Fixed on You Edge Control was great and exciting. The product smelled amazing and the texture was soft like gel. It was easy to style my hair and it looked shiny and moisturized. I like the design of the product, its very stylish. It's definitely a staple hair item that I would use for my edges and ponytail hairstyles.

A nice quality gel!

The Hairitage Fixed on You Edge Control smells yummy and works great on my edges. I was surprised by the gel like consistency; however, it lays my edges down for the entire day.  My hair is very frizzy and is prone to reverting to its natural state, this is the reason I need a reliable edge control product. I did not experience any flaking or product build-up while using the edge control.

Smooth Edges

Hairtage is a great edge control product. Its not too sticky when you apply it which I greatly appreciate. It did not flake in my hair nor did it make my hair feel hard. My edges laid down nicely though my gray hairs were still unruly. Overall its a great smelling product that doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or hard. It lays my hair down as expected minus unruly gray hairs.

Smells great and gets the job done!

This product actually laid my edges down and I was pleasantly surprised as many other edge controls don't... The consistency is much looser than I expected an edge control to be. It's fairly lightweight, smells decent, but doesn't create any white residue.

Unexpecting Hold

I like that this product does not leave your hair sticky or flaky! The hold is a little weaker then I would want in a edge control, but since I have natural unstraightened 4c hair depending on the style I choose to wear, this product is perfect, but for sleek slick ponytails I'm not sure this is the product for that. The smell is great.

I'm sold...

Overall, the product worked well. This stuff will keep those flyaways are bay, and keep those baby hairs LAID!! It worked too well for my grade of hair though so I will not be purchasing this product. It held my edges down so good I don't even think a hurricane would make these edges not on fleek! That said, my edges are straight and slick and fine, so it was a bit too much hold for my hair. I think this product would work better on a 4 grade where as I am a 3B/C. Or even a 3 with curlier roots but my roots are quite straight and curly 1/4 of the way down all the way to the end. Overall, this is great for keeping those edges smoothed and frizz free so it is a great product! I did find it to be a little flaky, BUT, I did pick at it a little to ease the tension of the hold on my already pretty slick edges. It does get the job done though!

Gets the job done, but not for fine hair

This product feels great on my daughter's and I hair. It makes the hair soft and doesn't leave a residue but it does not hold our edges at all. It would work to lay down a few frizzy hairs but not to hold edges in hopes for it to last a decent amount of time. It definitely won't hold your baby hairs in place for a high bun or ponytail. It laid my edges down for about one hour before they curled right back up. I really wouldn't recommend if you want something to really slick your edges down and hold them for any period of time. If you want something to control frizz around your edges this is your product.
