I want my food especially meat to stay fresh when I put it in the freezer. I don't see any reason to pay extra money for name brand bags especially when these work in my opinion better than the name brand ones do and I like the slider bags so much better than the ones where I have to work extra hard to get them sealed with the ziplock. I am on social security only and I am quite frugal with my money and using two bags might seem wasteful but I reuse them I run them through the dishwasher and then I reuse them. so I only make a small notation on one bag of what is in there. but these bags are by far better than name brand.
