Necessary for small cars

We have a Nissan Versa and found that it was not possible for us to have a front seat passenger with the Diono 3RXT rear-facing in the car UNLESS we had this angle adjuster that makes it possible to sit an adult up there comfortably. It works well for us as designed but knocked a star off because it is frustrating to have to invest in extra accessories just to use our car seat.

Helpful...really essential but expensive

It's great to have this option and I'm sure it isn't cheap to manufacture. However, the car seat wouldn't fit without it so it feels like a rip off to buy. Maybe a discount if you buy it at the same time as a car seat?
