Create an internal measuring device.

The one thing I found to be difficult to do was to measure the water because there are no measurements on the inside or outside of the urn. There are some lines with no numbers on the clear tube, but they make no rhyme or reason. For being such a large urn, it should have some sort of measuring device or clear instructions on the pamphlet.

More than once coffee hasn't been brewed due to not having the basket and stem in the right location. It is hard to tell if the stem is seated properly in the well at the bottom of the pot resulting in either perked coffee or 50 cups of hot water.
