It is WATERPROOF! Great if you do watersports or tend to have issues with mascara running (sweat, tears, eyes watering). Have worn it for years. Try others but always come back to this one. Comes off easily with the name brand (starts with an N) oil-free eye makeup remover. Not a big fan of this brush but it works.
