I love these things and all of the other Canyon Bakehouse products. They're gluten free (obviously) and dairy free but they also DON'T have any of the other ingredients that mess me up even more than dairy, like soy, palm oil, or pea protein. All of the other major gluten free brands have one or more of these ingredients so I'm very grateful for Canyon Bakehouse. That said, their honey oat English muffins can taste a bit too, I don't know, whole wheat-y (toasting helps a lot with this) at times but this can vary a lot between batches. I actually like this variation. That said, I have gotten a few packages recently that we're moldy despite still being in date. Apparently Canyon Bakehouse recently changed something about how they seal %26 preserve a few of their products and the new method isn't as effective as the previous one. I contacted the company directly about the issue and they actually sent me several coupons for a free package of any of their products I wanted along with an apology letter. In the mail no less. I was very impressed.

Unlike most gf bread items which are dry, flakey, crumbley, etc......these guys are definitely not! Great for burgers, w eggs, sandwiches too. Just be sure to toast them med to well toasted for best texture, they are actually too moist otherwise, which in itself is xtremely rare for gf... Well toasted i dont think any gf person would rate it any less than 4 or 5 stars. I agree, giving 4 stars for my review...(instead of 4 1/2 cuz they dont let you do that). My small discount is i detect a bit more sugar sweetness than is necessary. A good bread will carry its own weight in flavor, and i think this recipe is a winner in that regard! Bound to please any gf person, for sure! JJay
