Heirloom quality

It's easy to take the steps to preserve the wood. But the requirement that I not use it for 24 hours each while the oil %26 wax penetrate... that will send me back to using the plastic boards this replaces. Too costly to have a whole family of these wooden boards so that one or more is always available.
