I have psoriatic arthritis and frequently have bad outbreaks that become infected. I'm also allergic to mosquito bites and even a small bite swells and itches for days. I'm human and though I try not to scratch the bites or psoriasis outbreaks, I do and they occasionally become infected and swollen. Because I am allergic to the glue on most adhesive tape and bandages, I wrap the areas with gauze and use these bandages to keep the gauze in place. This sticks to itself and does not further irritate my skin. Also, if you unroll the outer bandage carefully, you can reuse it a second and sometimes third time on top of the gauze. A little adhesive tape on top of the very top layer of outer bandage to the next to top layer continues to hold it in place without touching your skin. These are a staple item of my home and work first aid kits and Walmart's price is the most reasonable. The boxes arrive timely and in good shape.
