Belle Isle Furniture Highland Modern Velvet Low Profile Upholstered Bed, Full, Beige

This was a good purchase, got it for my 14 y.o son who is tall and wear a size 14 shoe. I'm a single mom, so I put it together by myself without any issues. I started out putting together on living room floor but had to move to bedroom once it was time to put it all together. The material is some what heavy but I was afraid if I screwed screws too tight rails would bend. I gave 4 stars b/c I was under the impression that the whole bed was metal. However, the slates are wood and that is not what I was expecting. So, I was a little disappointed when I saw the wooden slates. Now we have to get rid of our box spring. Overall, it was easy to put together, it is a nice addition to my son room, it sits high enough to see under bed and store stuff and I would recommend. All of the furniture pieces in my son's room came from walmart.com, night stand and tv stand and I assemble them all, that's to say.... it's easy!

After unpacking and assembling the bed frame materials, which took me over an hour, the pieces are mismatched and the screws are not firm after being screwed in. I have tried to contact the company on several occasions to at least send the correct pieces to me to no avail. I regret purchasing this item.
