I have used Maybelline products for over 30 years and I think this is one of the best they have come up with all in one pallete. Match it with the best mascara ever- Mabelline Great Lash- and you can create the best smoky rock star eyes. Comes with a double end sponge applicator but I prefer a brush. Great product.

I must say, that I was surprised by how much I really liked the "Maybelline New York The Rock Nudes Eye Shadow Palette". I did notice other reviews on this product and they were mixed. All that I can tell you is the experience I had with this product. The things I liked most about the Maybelline palette was how smooth it went on and it did not flake. I have some covergirl eye shadows and the colors are kind of powder textured so when I put it on my eye lid, there will be some dusting of it on my face. Again, I did NOT have that problem with this Maybelline palette product. Like I said also it went on very smooth. Obviously the more color and stokes you add, the darker it will be. But I did notice that even with one stroke of color, it went on as the color it was supposed to. I loved the variety of color that this palette came with. They're not bold and all the natural colors I tend to go towards. There's a mix of shimmer looking color and dull color. The shimmer color does not go on sparkly, which is a good thing because that's a look I do not like. But like I said, it's more of a shimmer and shine. It looks professional. I really like it and would recommend.
