Worth the money.

The towel was thicker than I had anticipated. Some reviews said the towel was too thin. I thought it was thicker than the standard "beach towel" but not as thick as a regular bath towel. Very soft. I have used it for a week and the absorption is not as good as would like, but that may increase with usage. Beautiful towel.
