Maracuja oil and cassis oil replenish dry strands by giving them a boost of hydration, while lemon peel leaves them brilliantly shiny. To use, apply to damp hair before styling for a frizz-free, manageable look. The Styling Shield works well with other products, so you can easily incorporate it into your existing routine to protect your hair while you curl, straighten, or blow-dry. I haven't used lotion before. I prefer it over the sprays, as I feel it's better coverage. I've used CHI spray for years which leaves my hair stiffer than Oribe. Smells really good. I've only used this product once, but I will reach for it over any spray next time I straighten my hair.
